Save Mart

Best Shopping experience I have had in Years. I moved over to Las Cruces a year ago, from Phoenix. I shopped at the all the Big Name Stores., then I discovered Save Mart. The people are plastic at those stores. Quality appears like it has just come off an assembly line of disgruntled employees. I walk into Save Mart and they treat me like they are glad to see me and are very friendly and Helpful. Prices were comparable to the big chains or better. My parents were visiting from out of town and we were driving by thinking of some quick groceries for dinner we stopped at Save Mart. Being new to this area I had no idea what to expect. I was impressed by how clean their establishment was and the staff was friendly. Unlike "fiesta foods" I will provide my rating for them separately. My parents were able to find what they needed and even expressed how they liked how tidy they kept their supermarket. I would definitely shop here again.

I like supporting locally owned businesses however I will never support a business that mistreats their employees. I have witness the manager Lora mistreat and talk down to her employees which not only made it uncomfortable for myself but also for this poor girl. This poor girl had a long line, and as a manger you would think that she would set the example and help out her employee, however she stood there and offered no helps while she was on her phone the entire time. Her bad attitude made it an unpleasant shopping experience. My family nor I will ever shop here again!!!

This Save Mart is a somewhat ethnic supermarket that has mostly Mexican groceries , American and some Asian stuff. They have a good produce and (red) meat section. The prices are not necessarily the cheapest but they do carry packaged foods, frozen & refrigerated, bakery and personal care products. The place is also clean and well lit.

This is NOT An ethnic grocery. They have a great assortment of all kinds of foods including hispanic. It is very clean, well stocked, and friendly. They Have wonderful meats and will cut to order. It is the only place I could find a good standing rib roast last Christmas. Their fruits and vegetables are a good assortment, they have plenty of fresh and frozen diary and fast foods as well as cheeses and deli-meats. I cant find anything to complain about except their rotisserie chickens are sometimes a bit too browned for my wishes but they still taste great.

It's quite handy, but can be quite expensive on some stuff.... but very nice that it's somewhat nearby when have enough money to go buy some needs....

I rarely write reviews. I feel compelled to do so after my visit to Savemart on Valley in Las Cruces this afternoon.I drive by all the time on my way to other stores even though it's actually closer to my home. This time I was in a hurry and was looking for a specific item. 'carne adobada' and thought they might actualy stock it, they did... and that's not all.The end cap of nearly every isle toward the back of the store has a different assortment of Tortillas. Maybe a dozen different brands and every size and kind. They even have two big insulated coolers with WARM fresh tortillas!.... Wait.. I didn't look for whole grain...??Yes they do have a more in depth selection of 'Hispanic' products... like 'Jaritos' soft drinks... but it has everything else you'd want and one of the best butcher/meat departments you'll find anywhere.And yes... it's very clean.. but should that be an exception?... really?? And I think every employee in the store looked right at me and greeted me with very genuine looking smile and a hello. You know... like humans from a bygone era. Weird. but nice.

I have had no reason to write a review about grocery stores here in Las Cruces. I stumbled on save mart and went in. Sparkling clean and clean smelling, you could eat off their floors. Very nice associates that were very helpful. One young man took my cart to my car and unliaded my groceries for me. I will be shopping at save mart for those reasons. It was so nice not to be scowled and dodging supplies sitting in the aisles. Thank you for treating me like a person and not a paycheck

Savemart is clean and friendly and my favorite place to shop for good clean meats vegetables and fruits. They have sales that beat most. I buy there more than any place in town. Oh and the checkers are always present and quick to get you out and you have wonderful young people to help you carry your groceries to your car.

Me and my husband went shopping there today. I loved my experience I love the service. It would be a shame for Walmart to close this wonderful place down. I even had somebody take my groceries out to my car for me. I haven't had that done in a long long time. He wouldn't even accept a tip.
