When you walk into this super market you instantly feel like the staff doesn't want you there. The clerk is streaming Korean dramas and more concerned about what is going on in the show then any customer questions. If you're not in the customer service business then why do retail at all? The clerk was rude, the food is overpriced and it feels like they would rather go out of business than be nice to customers. I witnessed the clerk being rude to a very friendly customer who had a question and when i was rang up she was distracted by her video and was incredibly rude snickering at me when i asked about pricing. Rolling her eyes. The store is small, and the refrigerated section for produce was out- but there was still produce there... who knows if it's any good honestly.

Our family has been here a few times. We are always greeted warmly and receive help when we can't find something. Very clean and well stocked.

Asian food lovers. El Paso has an awesome Asian food market with ALL the fresh herbs and spices one would need for Vietnamese, Korean, Cantonese, Filipino,Thai, or Cambodian food. It was my biggest fear since I didn't want to ship smelly fish sauce and condiments here while I'm visiting my in laws. Super fresh and affordable as well. I definitely stocked up and everyone was super nice and welcoming.Additional tips: $10 above for credit cards and Wednesdays are the days they get new produce. They also sell fresh culantro for pho or fricase (Puerto Rican in laws were amazed they had the herb at an Asian market).

Super small market. I was looking for hot pot base and found it. They have a small selection of veggies. Also was a good place to find items to put in hotpot like fish tofu!

I would rather drive to Dyer to the Asian Market then go to this place 5 min from my house. The service is super unfriendly and the store seems very unsanitary. Feels like a health hazard right as you enter. The comparison of items at this place compared to the other oriental stores is very low. They also have an old lady laying down behind the front desk which is extremely unsettling. Heard the boss lady is rude lol I can believe it being there. Will not be back even if it's for rice paper.

Extremely small market. You are able to find the most common ingredients to make authentic food. However, the selection is not big, and the cashier lady did not even acknowledge my existence. She was completely glued to her computer, and did not make an attempt to even look up.

The stench hit us like a wall as we entered. Then we saw an older person sleeping on the Floor behind the Counter. When we mentioned the smell the Cashier (Owner?) yelled at us and we left. Like stepping off of Mesa Street into an unclean rude foreign Country.

Friendly and helpful. Explaining different items and how they are used and cooked. Great for someone like me who is just learning Asian cooking.

I had read the reviews and knew that the owner was unpleasant but I wanted to check out the market anyway. I know that there are other asian markets but this one is closest to my home. I asked her for dried shrimp because I had a recipe that called for it. She responded with a quick and dismissive, "no we don't have it". So I walked around because I thought surely I could find something similar. Well guess what! I found dried shrimp, which was a few feet from where the owner was standing?! Why on earth would you have a store if you don't care to sell anything??? In this challenging business atmosphere, we are all faced with right now, why be so rude?

only adding one more star cause the couple times i've been there recently (since it's the closest asian grocery store near me and gas prices are way up) the staff has been nicer and also this store has way more specific vietnamese items i can't find anywhere else (especially for pho).
