If you are after all the amenities (besides a microwave, flat screen TV and a mini-fridge), or are a perfectionist (a blob of caulking, 2 cracked tiles in the shower stoop, the bathroom rugs have some stuff stuck to the threads and the edges of the baseboards are a bit dirty), you wouldn't want to stay here (they still use keys for the room). But, if you want a clean room and bed, and a fairly quiet ac, for an exceptionally great price (I paid $40.00 total; I haven't seen total prices this low since the '70s), then this quaint little motel is for you!Despite the outdated hi-low shag carpet, the room is clean and pretty comfortable. And, the furniture is in very good condition.Something you don't see very often at any motel, screen doors!I've paid 2.5x this price for places, that haven't been this nice.In the bathroom, tall people may have a problem with getting off the toilet (I'm 5' 9", and once I bopped my head on the far wall). And, they will have a problem in the shower. But, the hot water is HOT (near instant hot water), plentiful and great pressure (almost got blasted out of the shower stall ;-) ).The bed was a bit firmer than I would have liked, but it was clean. But, while the pillows looked full, I used both of them, sleeping on my back).Yea! Free and SECURED Wi-Fi. While the signal was great, it was a bit slow to load in spots. But, overall, no complaints about it.However, there is one thing that you better get use to, real quick. Or, you're gonna have bruised tootsies. And, that's the bed frame is a box, that extends to the end, and one side of the mattress.Would I stay here again? Absolutely! And, if you don't mind a little drive to eat meals (unless you're a microwave chef), even an extended stay is doable.

Its an old mom n pops place (which are dying off way to fast) comfortable, some have kitchenetts, clean, very nice people. I enjoy sitting on a chair under the tree looking at those majestic mountains.

For the value, this is by far the best place in Benson to stay. I will not say what I pay per night, but this has to be the cheapest motel in Arizona. Nancy is the nicest lady I have ever come across at a hotel/motel. Room includes FREE WI-FI, mini fridge, TV, closet, and bathroom. Despite all of the beatles crawling around outside, I have never found one in my room.

Absolute delight! This is a old fashioned motel and we loved it. The owner Nancy is adorable and likes to call it "retro". We were shooting a film in Benson and rented out 6 of her rooms and we were all just thrilled. We wanted to support local business and wanted a real homey place to stay and this is definitely homey. Our room had a cute little kitchenette with everything you need included.. dishes, utensils, etc. Nancy has great recommendations for local restaurants and is very friendly. If you only like fancy, impersonal places... this is not the motel for you; but if you want a unique experience and enjoy supporting the local community, you won't find a better place. It's truly a wonderful place to experience a little blast from the past when people were more friendly and you could leave your door unlocked. Bonus - best price of any hotel in the area by far and has free wi-fi if you need it.

Our stay at this motel was very lovely! Nancy is so sweet and friendly. The sheets were incredibly soft and the pillows were fluffy and soft (just the way I like them). I felt very cozy here! There were also so many things in the room, a mini kitchen (with a stove!), brooms, microwave, TV, etc. I also loved that the room had a screen door. Overall, excellent stay for the money!

The best stays ever. I have been going here for many years. Had always been greeted by Mrs. Iverson at the time. If there were 10 stars - I'd give it to them.
