Safari Grill & Treats

Small, unassuming place with excellent burgers and shakes. Very happy to have chanced upon this place while passing through town. Very pleasant service. Some reviews said the food was expensive but I didn't find this to be true.

The food is very, very good but also ultra expensive. I ate there with my daughter and had chicken strips, which were good. I knew it was expensive but wanted to trade with them because my daughter and her friends frequently ate there and also studied on the patio area. This is a small town and we need to support our local businesses. Soon after I ate there, my daughter was told that she and her friends could no longer study there. The owner was very rude and my daughter had her feelings hurt. They had cleaned up after themselves, purchased food, and behaved themselves. She should have been grateful for the business at her high prices. Needless to say, we won't go back.

Drove to McCamey with family to pick up something that was purchased. Looked on Yelp to find food options since we would be there around lunchtime. Found Safari Grill & Treats and it looked appealing. We stopped there. The woman who took our order was very friendly. When we got our food, we WERE NOT disappointed. It was very tasty. They had a sauce served with the waffle fries that was out of this world. Enjoyed eating on the outside deck, except for the fact it was a typical windy west Texas day. The only drawbacks, was they had no tea that day, and there were no restroom facilities (but there was a convenience store across the street). IF I'm ever back in McCamey, i would like to go back to the Safari Grill & Treats.I would highly recommend this location!!

Incredibly rude owners. Half of the menu was unavailable and it took 55 minutes for 8 wings and fries. The prices are way too high for the cheap mediocre food they serve.
