I agree with John E - "If you're on 80 between Douglas and Lordsburg, stop here!"... but with a few minor service and food quality tweaks, I think the heading could change to: "If you're on I-10, the 20 mile detour to the Rodeo Cafe is worth it" or "If you're in Douglas, make the journey up 80 for a change"I stopped in for Breakfast, early at opening, the crew let me in early, and was instantly attentive with some hot coffee as if I was a local. The breakfast menu looks phenomenal and I couldn't wait to try the Huevos Rancheros. However, unfortunately on my visit, they were out of their enchilada sauce, so I went with the #5 pancake breakfast (large). It was near perfect. Two pancakes of solid portion, fluffy and thick; yet substantive and able to take the butter and table syrup perfectly. Bacon was perfectly cooked - crisp, not with a small bit of chew, and the ham sizable and nicely cooked. Eggs over medium - again perfectly cooked with toast crips and not dry.A few minor tweaks could move this from a place you stop by if you're in the area, to a place you come to the area to stop for.Table Syrup - Mrs. Butterworths? I'd suggest you consider finding a small purchase of 1.5oz single-serve jars of pure maple syrup. If I was offered that for an extra $4 for the quality of pancakes, I would do so immediately.Coffee -- Folgers is good; but you could easily buy a small coffee grinder, and some fresh beans. Put that through the coffee pot, and the experience could be elevated yet again.Anytime I am at Rusty's RV Ranch in the future, I will be returning here for breakfast again, and again.

If you are on route 80 between DouglasAZ & LordsburgNM, this is THE place to eat--as long as you arrive there between (07:30-15:00), Monday through Saturday. I highly recommend the green chili cheeseburger, with sweet potato fries! Enjoy the WiFi, pay with a major credit card, and have a great look at the phenomenal mural of the second transcontinental road (Jefferson Davis Highway/US80) on the interior wall. You can beat the delicious food and the feast for the eyes/inspiration to travel!

Good for breakfast and lunches, Mexican food, grits too. Gravy and biscuits are a meal in itself. Closes around 3 pm. Watch you speed anywhere on route 80 from Road Forks south to Rodeo as it's well and truly enforced by officers in parked tan SUVs which look unmarked till you're right next to them. Set cruise to 55.

THE hangout for Rodeo. Good and filling food for breakfast and lunch. Lot's of necessary groceries well stocked. If you don't know anyone in Rodeo when you walk in to this clean and well kept store, you will by the time you walk out.
