Roasted Rooster Coffee & Waffles

If you are ever passing through Las Cruces you have to stop here. This was one of the favorite parts of our roadtrip from Arizona to Texas. The Frizzle, pistachio latte, is one of the best I have ever had. I would almost drive to NM just for this. Very cool place. Awesome people and just overall a new favorite.

A very sit down and enjoy your coffee and work type of vibe when you first walk in. I tried their horchata latte and yum. The hints of cinnamon gave it that perfect touch. We also tried the chicken and waffle burrito. The first bite kind is through you off at first and then BAM your taste buds get hit with all that flavor from the fried chicken and the syruped waffles. Overall, I will definitely be back to try other things off the menu.

Came to charge and of course had to stop in for coffee. Wonderful small business coffee shop. Perfect location right off I-10.Great attention to detail. Everything from the beautiful, exotic granite counter, to the tic-tac-toe chicken games, chicken, details throughout, the extra clean bathrooms and the Tesla superchargers.

I had been coming to this location to charge my uh hum yes, Tesla, prior to the business opening. As others have mentioned, there are a lot of Tesla chargers here and I should note, they were here long before the business. However, there is an adjacent lot where other vehicles can park as well.The business owners and employees are so welcoming! Even allowing us to use the restroom while charging before they opened for business. The restaurant is modern and nicely decorated. It's always so clean and the staff are so sweet!I love their waffles and especially the bacon, egg, and cheese. It's classic and delicious! My favorite drink so far is the butter pecan latte.As far as price, you get what you pay for and this service and food is worth every penny!

The place is clean and cozy to have some food while I charge my car but the coffee recommendation wasn't strong but more on the sweet side which was ok but I asked for the strongest one and while the plain waffles were ok the sandwich was so good. The people are nice and friendly

I have ordered coffee and food at this restaurant more than five times. One of the employees is consistently apathetic and doesn't understand the difference between cold brew and an Americano. Twice now, he says they have cold brew but delivers an Americano because they're out of cold brew. I don't know why he wouldn't simply say that they're OUT of cold brew. The panini I ordered was flat as a pancake and unappetizing. My partner ordered a waffle and he said it was like they warmed it up in a microwave. You know the texture that breads get when you overheat them in the microwave? Yes, it was chewy and hard at the same time. Coffee and tea drinks are okay. Food is sub par. Service is mediocre.

The two times I have been in, the service is slow and the employees acted like they just didn't care you were there. It takes forever for an order to come out, one couple got one entree, then their drinks, then another entree...they looked upset too. My scoop of ice cream took 15 minutes and then they called the wrong name for it. The chicken is baked and not fried on the waffles. The choice of just ordering a basic cup of coffee or tea that doesn't have 20 ingredients seems to confuse the counter staff. Perhaps they just want to be fancy because it's a Tesla charging station. I just want pleasant service and a cup of coffee quickly. Ya won't get either here.Certainly not worth my time for the price of their food and the haphazard way they deliver it. Hire some folks who like customer service and can handle a kitchen.

We decided to try out the new restaurant: Roasted Rooster Coffee & Waffles today. This location has a unique concept (coffee tea and waffles). They do have chicken, bacon and brisket to add to their sandwiches, made with waffles. My wife had a half order of waffles with strawberries, and I had their Frito pie (beans, corn, red and green chiles, brisket and Fritos). The waffles and the Frito pie were very good. When we first arrived, there was a line waiting to order and there was a shortage of empty tables and chairs, but by the time we had placed our order, a table was vacant for us. We noticed that the ordering line was short went we went to leave, so timing plays a big role. Service was fine and the country/ "rooster" decor was nice.

I'm intrigued by this restaurant. We had wonderful service, the food had cool combinations and I wanted to be head over heels because it was so cute. I split the chicken and waffles and a hash brown waffle fries. My dad got the chicken and waffle burrito. If I do mine again, I would leave the peanut butter sauce off. It didn't add to the dish. It was tasty, although the chicken nuggets on top were dried out and absolutely could be better. So on to the burrito. Its presentation was fantastic! The burrito it rolled inside of a crispy cheese shell. That was a good start. However the chicken nuggets inside were Sahara Desert dry too. My dad ate half and decided he did not want to take the other half home. That's not his norm, he almost always likes leftovers. Had the chicken been better in both meals, I would have given them a much better rating. I'm willing to try it again, sometimes perfection isn't achieved on the first try.

Love this place. Right at the Tesla supercharger so very convenient. What a unique place that serves waffles in so many ways. I hope I can stop here every time I have to charge. Hope to come back and try the savory waffles.
