Spent one night here with three of my friends so we could wine taste and not have to drive back to Tucson. It was very clean but our room had a strong mildew smell, probably from age, the other room smelled better. Our bed was a rock but our neighbor's was softer, both comfortable in different ways. There is a self- serve aspect to the Breakfast part so not a typical B&B from my experience. The owner was extremely accommodating and worked with our schedule. It was too cold to wander at night but the stars were phenomenal. The animals were friendly and not intrusive. The rooms are equipped with a mini fridge and microwave. It has only three rooms but they are large. It was a nice escape and better than a small hotel room.

Qaint place, with an old ranch feel. Rooms were clean, but basic. Excellent 360 views. There was a common room to use and breakfast was a help yourself well stocked kitchen. Owner was friendly and accommodating. As an added bonus, his horses, dogs and even cow (that he rescued as orphan) were friendly to the point you needed to close your room door (in a good way). If you set your expectations that this is not a Hilton, you Will enjoy your stay.PS He even took us down to meet the new born piglets and got us fresh chicken and duck eggs to take home from his chicken coop....

You won't find more sincere and warm hosts than the owners of Rancho Milagro. So welcoming and laid back, they make you feel like family. The setting is tranquil and charming with mountain vistas and gold grasslands right out of a western movie. Rooms are clean and well appointed. The complimentary breakfast was a delight and wonderfully staged in a separate outbuilding across from the main lodge. It's comfy and inviting with a large dining table that could seat the whole Cartwright family of Bonanza. You know the hardboiled eggs are fresh when you can easily hear the chickens clucking in the nearby coop. Horses and cattle surround the property and the adjacent unpaved roads provided the perfect venue for our morning run. Walking would be fine too of course, but I had my eye on that blueberry bagel and cream cheese & 2nd cup of fresh brewed coffee.

The Rancho Milagro Bed and Breakfast is an absolutely perfect find for a cool getaway in Arizona's wine country. The large property is tucked away in a high elevation, affording it vistas where the mountains can be viewed many miles away across the rolling picturesque Sonoita/Elgin countryside. We stayed for two nights enjoying the fabulous hospitality of Renate and Rainer, hosts of the B&B. The room was spacious, comfortable, and attractively appointed in Southwestern style, offering a dining table, sofa, big bed, refrigerator, tv, and a jacuzzi bathtub. The breakfasts were delicious with fresh fruit, yogurt, and cereal. The internet was fast and secure, but frankly, leave your electronics home when coming here, because there is so much to see and do. The beautiful Kartchner caverns are 30 minutes away, and there are over a half dozen wineries in the immediate vicinity. We stayed at Rancho Milagro in late August, the height of summer, and although there is no central air conditioning, none was needed as the days were capped with cooling rain showers and brief thunderstorms that created the most exquisite sunsets. We highly recommend Rancho Milagro! Thank you for a wonderful two days!

A wonderful charming hideaway nestled in the southeast Arizona high grasslands at 5000 feet with beautiful sweeping vistas of the Huachucas and seven other mountain ranges. The house is spacious and the innkeepers are world travelers from Germany with incredible stories to tell. Don't miss this hidden charm and go right away!!Coming from the Chicago artic cold, I enjoyed just having my morning coffee in the courtyard while planning my day to historic sites, art galleries in Tubac and Patagonia, and lunch at Elviras where the moles were as good as the ones I had In Oaxaca.

Awesome little spot with plenty of fun activities to do within a small radius of the ranch. Owners were super sweet, everything was clean, and about as good as it gets!

We had a wonderful two-night stay at Rancho Milagro. We especially enjoyed the porch swing while we watched a beautiful sunset. This bed and breakfast provides excellent views of the gorgeous scenery in the Elgin/Sonoita area. Steve, the host, was welcoming and friendly, and we enjoyed meeting some of the family dogs. The room was plenty big for our needs and was well-equipped with a fridge, microwave, table/chairs, and more. A large community center is available for all guests. This is a great place to eat breakfast, have a snack, read, watch television, or play board games. I deducted a star because the room needed a more thorough cleaning. Also, breakfast was plentiful, but I would have appreciated a couple more healthy options, such as whole grain bread/bagels, low fat/low sugar yogurt, oatmeal packets without added sugar, and more cereal choices with less sugar. We did enjoy fresh strawberries, pears, and apples. We would definitely return to this bed and breakfast to enjoy the peaceful, quiet, serene atmosphere.
