My friend left his card at the bar. Marsha, the bartender took it home for some odd reason and then"misplaced" it. A charge of 170 showed up on his account... The Blues couldn't pull up the transaction, no idea why? I guess she felt it was okay to leave herself a HUGE $100 tip. When confronted about the situation, she just tried to kick him out of the bar. I've heard from so many people of this behavior from her when she worked at the Crystal Bar and I find it very sad and unfortunate it's continuing at a different bar in town. It's a small community we live in, this kind of shit isn't okay. So, if she's working, I recommend people look at their receipts when closing out, don't leave your card, and just be aware. Theft is illegal.

Prejudicial Establishment (keep clear)No stars. My best friend, a 69 year old tourist visiting Alpine, Arizona, kind as the day is long, was in Railroad Blues for Karaoke night. He was likely the oldest person in the bar. He had never seen Karaoke and was curious. The place was bouncing off the wall, packed full. My friend has very long hair and is often mistaken for Native American. He was walking out to get air when he was surrounded by four hostile young men (bouncers?) screaming obscenities at him. He was entirely mystified and feared for his safety. They walked him out of the bar to a waiting police car. He was put in handcuffs and spent the night in jail, the charge (public intoxication). He was without his prescriptions and ate the cost of a triple digit hotel room. It took a year for the case to be dismissed. There was no evidence, no breath test, no complaints. He was drinking in a Public House. It was a cut and dry case of racial or perhaps age profiling. You tell me what you think my friend was guilty of? Stay clear of this place if you are not white. Bad, bad juju folks.

It had great atmosphere a beautiful Roaring fire pit and excellent band. except the 5 people there didn't know Mawzy the band was playing. I couldn't give it any more stars and would have gave less if not for those things that made up for the bad attitude manager.On a Friday night a place like that should be hopping. I've known hole in the walls to have more people. people love a crowd and without one, it ain't no fun .When I asked how did they advertise because no one was in there, she said Facebook . someone should tell her that Facebook algorithms doesn't put the idea of a good time at your place front and center on anyone's feed. The sign they currently have outside is faded and as it's a one way , you can't even tell this place is there if you're not already familiar. One of her employees had access to one of those big huge Arrow Signs with lights where you can list the band names for only $100. When I smiled and started mentioning that it would look great on the far side in the grass so visible from the road she cut me off with snooty " I've been a manager for 19 years and the locals know we're here.! and didn't want me mentioning any other ideas I had as if not being interested in growing the business and making it better is a way to stay open or profitable. The employees said they no longer had a PR person and it shows.I was shocked by how she reacted so ungracious and defensively and I replied I was only trying to be helpful and kind. She actually said, so was she! Ha. this place is on 67 the main road from Mexico. Many of us Americans are heading across the border to get dental work done. The place could benefit by reaching out to Travelers. Hey even advertise a new drink special called Novacaine for people who got work done that week. Lol.While locals may know it's there, they also need to be reminded. Passive advertising like flyers and a road sign can help decide someone's evening impulsively.Personally, I won't be going back if she and her dour unsmiling face is what's running things

We enjoyed having a few drinks with the friendly locals here on our one night in Alpine. Very chill bar with a great atmosphere

While this place may be known for its music, the drinks leave a lot to be desired. We ordered Long Island Iced Teas which were sour-- yes, sour. We could not drink the LIITs because they were so sour. The bartender said she made them with Sweet and Sour mix-- yuck. We left the drinks and the place. I do not plan on returning.

So much stuff in this bar to look at! You can sit outside on the patio, belly up to the bar, or listen to live music events. There are several pool tables, a dart board, and a shooting video game. Beer in bottles and some on draft. Full bar and wine. A must stop in Alpine

Not a bad bar.Good selection of beers.Eclectic decorations inside.The bartender gave us a hard time for throwing darts after only putting a quarter in the "dart machine" instead of the requisite 75 cents.

Drinks with club soda were good. They could use a good cleaning on the women's toilet.

Blues has been my bar for the last year or so. Good pool tables, great bartenders. Really good mixed drinks. Karaoke night on Wednesdays is always a must!!!
