you have got to be kidding me. how in the world is this sh*thole on yelp. when i saw i could literally check in to railhead on yelp i nearly crapped my pants. i have spent countless hours at this rail yard. breaking chains and moving vehicles in the hot sun all day for weeks. this review is from an e4 and below not an officer or nco who don't really do a damn thing at railhead. instead they work you like some hebrew slaves. you'll be sucking on your camelback more than you sucked on your moms nipples as a baby. your uniform is going to be completely dirty and sweaty everyday. just be prepared to be bent over backwards like most of the things you do in the army. you'll more than likely get mres because they don't break for lunch and instead work right through it. gut truck comes every once in awhile. what seems like miles of trains full of every military vehicle you can imagine come rolling in. your (or at least my) job is to unlatch all four chains that hold the vehicle down and drive it off the train. seems easy yeah? chains are an extreme pain in the ass and take forever. and when you have like 193820 total vehicles it gets ridiculous. if your unit ever says "we're doing railhead soon" mentally and physically (maybe even spiritually) brace yourself for the most pissed off you'll be. oh and you have your ach, eye pro, and pt belt on the whole time. "oh i'll just drive there and then leave at lunch no one will notice" yeah bud, you take a bus there at 0500. and you're not leaving until 17-1800. have a great time. chains make a wonderful noose if you're looking for a quick solution to end the misery of railhead.
