Amazing service, very helpful. Cost effective for the quality you are purchasing. They didn't have a cut of meat I wanted yet assured me they could have it by 10 am the next day.Really waiting to throw these in my smoker just today there isn't enough time!

The place looks a little old, I ordered one order of taco asada and got it to go. I was very disappointed in myself for ordering one entree to share with my wife as this food was delicious and I would highly recommend this place. It's old but clean inside and the staff was very nice. Prices are reasonable.I hardly give 5 stars

When I think of family restaurants I imagine a warm and loving environment where the aromas of traditional Mexican comfort foods are being prepared for a grand event. You can experience this when you go to Quintero's Meat Market & Kitchen! I had the Chile Relleno Torta with avocado and onion rings and let me just say it was prepared beautifully. They offer homemade chips and salsa with enough kick to satisfy your spicy cravings. There are many Mexican restaurants in El Paso but not many quite like Quintero's for a true traditional home cooked meal look no further and enjoy a delicious meal at Quintero's the staff is more like family and the vibe is reminiscent of eating with long lost relatives.

I took the advice of a past commentator (Armando D) and went to Silva's as he has recommended. . . apparently they are now closed! I'm assuming they weren't as great as was written otherwise they would still be open! I ventured over to Quintero's as others recommended. Not only was the service friendly and were prompt in assisting me but the meat product was EXCELLENT. The steaks I purchased were fresh and delicious. I discovered that a USDA inspector is on staff and to assure that all outgoing product is of the highest quality. YOU CAN'T GET ANY BETTER THAN THAT!!I was told by one of the owner's that they are opening a retail meat market/restaurant location on Montana by Mid March with regular store hours for their retail customers. I've found a new place to buy all my meat!!

Crazy people work here. Back stabing drivers due to insecurity issues. Adds to a hostile work place. That said great inhouse people. Butchers are rock solid. Toni and christion keep things going. Had fun there .

This is not fresh meat as they claim, they use low grade processed frozen boxed meat just like the ones sold at Cash and Carry.. Their butchers always try to stick it to you and are not too helpful . Prices are not that great. If you want fresh beef go to Silva's and see for yourself what fresh beef looks like.

For quality and price (as well as for the shopping experience) Quinteros is as "old school" as it gets. When you buy or have great beef elsewhere, odds are that it came from these guys as they supply most restaurants, markets and other butchers in town. They ship in direct from the Midwest and have an USDA inspector onsite because they move so much volume. I'm guessing that their prices, freshness and quality have a lot to do with this? Because they are so busy, your best bet is to call ahead and talk to a butcher about availability and prices and then order as their retail operation is simply a window on an office where you order, pay and the meat is cut inside their warehouse. If in a hurry, just showing up and ordering will take some time (as it should as they are BUSY). The first time, this can seem atypical of how one buys meat but EVERY time, the meat is PERFECT and for quality / price AND freshness it blows away even our best supermarket butchers and local meat markets. With more and more "foodies" seeking those hard to get cuts , Quinteros rocks the 2nd.cut of Brisket or the plate ribs / shanks and other braising specialties. If "old school" appeals to you, call these guys and place an order to see how service and quality used to be.
