Puro Maiz

What a wonderful little restaurant in far East El Paso. I was taken by the professionalism from the order taker to the server and everyone in between. Everyone was very polite. No one on their cellphones or earbuds! The music was a bit loud but not obnoxious.I enjoyed the enchiladas which were prepared just as I ordered. My lunch order was prepared quickly and perfectly. I enjoyed the whole meal. Please visit this restaurant and give them your business. During these times when customer service is so obviously lacking, it is refreshing to enjoy a restaurant not only for the food but also the great service.

Was very excited to try this restaurant. We went in at 9PM, and they close at 11PM. The girl at the front said they were only serving 3 items on the menu. Looked like they were trying to close early. Welp, we won't be returning to try it out

WOW, BEST BREAKFAST ON EAST SIDE !!THIS IS NOT LIKE TACO CABANA.......Breakfast was terrific. Staff was friendly, spotlessly clean, bright, colorful, and charming. Delicious Chilaquiles.Cucumber water was surprisingly refreshing even a little sweet.And let's talk about the most reasonable prices around...

Service was great, very friendly when ordering our food and when the food took a little longer than expected they gave us a complimentary dessert. On top of that, the food was delicious.

Guys this place is super good. I loved the green enchiladas and the pozole. Great prices on beer. They also have a drive thru for to go orders. The quality of the food is excellent. More people need to try it here.

Everything looks soooo good on the menu! I only ordered the Pozole one morning and was highly disappointed. First of all, it came with lettuce and tortilla chips. Lettuce....Tortilla chips???? Ugh, I usually prefer mine with bread and cabbage. It also came with 2 radish's and onions. My total was over $10.00 with tax. The Red Pozole contained tiny shreds of meat in, and I mean TINY! They should of just called it hominy soup!The broth was very spicy but needed some salt, oregano, something! Just had no flavor other than the overwhelming spicy taste. This was not authentic Mexican food by any means. This was Tex-Mex, it's what we El Pasoans call Mexican food with no flavor. I will always give a business another try and would order something completely different as this was not satisfying at all.

So this place has been open about a year and it's 5m from my house. I'm kicking myself for not having tried it sooner. I'm from DF and the salsas and flavors here were traditional down south Mexican and really took me back. The chilaquiles, the chicharrón, the beans, and the barbacoa taco were all just delicious. I will be a frequent customer from now on. Meticulously clean inside and friendly service, also affordable. Go try it!

Omg! When i tell you these chilaquiles are the best I MEANT IT!!! Customer service first of all is awesome! Both workers who were in the front were so nice and answered all my questions and knew how to respond perfectly. Also, the food is jaw dropping, literally looks and tastes like heaven. They have the best sides as well. The inside is pretty cool but i always take the food to go or uber eats. Overall super great!!

Service wasn't the best! Says they close at 11 and I got there at 9. Meaning they SHOULD still be open because it says 11. They even had the open sign still ON! Also the lazy inside was super rude nodding her head and crossing her arms trying to tell me it's closed which is weird, AND to top that off we passed by it again not even 10 mins later and the sign was shining bright to mars and still said open. This is false advertisement which can hurt a business a lot! I say fix it or there will be more bad reviews from more people. Food has been good before the one other time I tried it. But still very upset on how that worker reacted and the false advertising.

Very slow service. It like 2 hours waiting for food. Never want to order food from them.
