Postage Depot

This place is great and very convenience when doing last minutes mailing. The consumers service is great and they explained everything you need to know about the processes of mailing. The prices is fair.

I tried sending a package international with Postage Depot about a month ago, and the overall experience was poor. First of all, the package took over a month to be delivered. I have sent packages internationally before with a different company, and the most I've ever waited for a package to be delivered was 2 weeks. Second, the tracking number I got from them was the WRONG TRACKING NUMBER. They told me that when they took my package to the post office, they actually had to fill out a different form, and received a different tracking number. They did not even bother to notify me that they changed the tracking number on me. After spending hours in hold with the post office trying to find this package, the post office told me that package was sent to Iraq (not even close where I sent my package). When I went to Postage Depot to find out what happened, they went thru hundreds of paper receipts, trying to find the confirmation slip for my package. They decided to take no responsibility for my lost package and refused to give me a refund. The only reason I am giving Postage Depot 2 stars instead of 1, is that the package was finally delivered (again, it took over a month). Otherwise, I would of also filed a complaint with the BBB. I will not be returning to the Postage Depot.

Stay away from this place and head up the road to postal annex! I just took 8 standard size envelopes to all be mailed locally and the gentleman helping me stated it would be $4.72 (per envelope) for a total of $37.76! When I questioned this crazy price he stated it was because the envelope wasn't perfectly flat (the cards had a very small heart design on it that in no way changed the weight or shape of the envelope). I left refusing to believe this is true and my husband and I immediately took them to postal annex on Zaragoza and edgemere where he went in and was charged $5.00 total to mail the exact same 8 envelopes! I'm not sure if it's because of what I drove or that I am a pregnant woman but I can't believe that he would lie and try to mark up the price so significantly. What infuriates me the most is that as a consumer you trust what an employee tells you to be true only to find out that they in fact were completely and blatantly dishonest. Luckily I caught on and left but what if it had been my grandmother or someone young who trusted this persons business practices. I only wish I could give them 0 stars.
