I'm not completely helpless, so once a week I do cook, almost always Friday or Saturday nights. That inevitably means I am cycling to a restaurant for takeaway food. The particular eatery this time was PIRCOS CHARBROIL, which had an excellent Mexican menu. I always enjoy good shrimp cocktail, and was delighted with the tasty semi-spicy food , plus extra saltines. We also enjoyed the taco plate and a Mexican combo plate. We would've like charro beans, but only refried were available, but that's OK--it was all delicious! This fine establishment certainly has my enthusiastic/coveted "iWheel of Approval!"

I love this place, it has a drive through, although it takes a bit to get your food- it's pretty convenient with this whole pandemic going around. My fiancé loves the menudo from here and I love the barbacoa burrito

The best menudo in El Paso, but one problem: everyone in the area knows about it and agrees, so you have to get there early on weekends - and I mean like 9:30 AM, because they can be out of it by then. Your best bet is to call ahead and order so they can hold your request. Otherwise you will be lining up around the building for nothing. Why do they not make more??? Regardless, I can assure you you will not be disappointed - and I have tried all the other Mexican places. I think only Taqueria Aaajiji's menudo is a close match. One thing: the reason I love this menudo so much is that it has strong flavor, as it should be, but I mean Mexican spicy (and I do not mean inedible spicy - just hot); but if you cannot handle real red chile flavor, this may be too hot for you. I would say spike it with the limes they add and the oregano, and that should do. The only thing I am hating about posting this review is that now you know and I will have to beat you to get in line.

When I lived in El Paso, this was one of my favorite places. Just down the street from home with great food. The last time I was here was 1997, so I had my doubts that it would still be here when I came down to visit family. I was happy to see that the place is still open. And my stomach was happy to see that the food is still homestyle Mexican.

The customer service is exellent! When they make they mistake, they reimburse you generously. They always have a smile one their face and ready to service. The menudo--have not found it anyplace better tasters. Have tried several places and this is the best. Size is generous and price is great.

Will never go here again. We love the gorditas from here but I had been calling since 4 o clock to put an order. The phone kept ringing so I decided to drop by. It was 415 and their closing time says 530. The lady just closed the door in my face and signaled they were closed. Very rude. Disappointed cause we really enjoyed their food.
