Sam Pillsbury, the wine maker was there on Sunday and telling us all about the wine. He and Terry were great, explaining everything. The tasting was 10 different wine which is a lot more than other places. Highly recommend this place.

Wine is not good, tasting room is in a shed and the host didn't dress professionally. Very overpriced wine too.

A little off the beaten path, but we'll worth the trip!! Wonderful hospitality and delightful wines that are full-bodied and complex.

We had the opportunity to stay overnight at this wine company two nights ago. It is a harvest host participant and allows us to spend at least one night without cost in our Airstream Airstream. Even though the owner Sam Pillsberry and his assistant Valerie were preparing for a very important event that evening they spent time with us while we tasted their wines. I tasted the reds in my wife Cindy tasted the whites we were so impressed that these excellent excellent wines we come from Arizona. We had lived in California for almost 30 years and enjoyed many fine wines there, but these were just absolutely exception. You can always tell when people enjoy their work so much that their product comes out excellent. In addition to being a excellent winemaker Sam Pillsbury is an accomplished writer and producer of film and television in addition he is accomplished at being a visionary and a man of action. If you really want to enjoy a wonderful evening with wonderful people and wonderful wine stop by the Pillsberry winery at your next opportunity. It is a place full of One pleasant surprise after another. We only wish we could've stayed longer but we had commitments to make elsewhere.

We visited this winery for the first time last year, as we were touring the wineries in Wilcox, AZ and returned this month. We enjoyed Sam and tasting Al of the wonderful wines. Very unique and excellent experience! Thank you!

When we drove up the driveway, it looked like I was driving up to grandma's house. Which made me kind of excited because grandma always had wonderful food and drinks. This did not disappoint. If you are used to driving up to a Big, beautiful Vineyard, high dollar, with fountains and manicured property this winery is not that. But the wine is GOOD. We have tasted wine from all over the world and this place has excellent wine. There is no residual sugar added to the wine, wild yeast strains not made in a laboratory. Do not let the atmosphere sway you from coming.

Sam Pillsbury and his assistant were very friendly and polite. Perhaps Sam was having a bad day, but he greeted us wearing a very dirty t-shirt with food stains all over and no shoes, but sporting a pair of dirty athetic socks with holes in them. The tasting room area we sat in is in the kitchen of his home and was quite messy and it included a view into his bedroom which was hard to look at. The wines were okay, however they are priced at a level well, well above their quality with one wine priced at $120/bottle and tastings $20 per person - not at all in line with the quality of the experience. We would not go here again.
