Pic Quik Stores

As the self-professed International Ambassador for 7Eleven stores worldwide, I'm always interested in checking out the competition (nota bene: I don't actually work for or have any financial interest in the 7Eleven corporation, franchises, or any of its affiliates; my title is strictly for entertainment purposes only and no bailment is created, caveat emptor, implied warranty of merchantability may or may not apply, consult your physician if you experience any adverse symptoms, not a paid spokesperson, not an attorney, and not that kind of doctor, etc. etc.)Now then, this particularl Pic Quik is a clean little store just off the I-10, and really close to our Hampton Inn hotel (see my other review... they have a great water slide and your kids will love it, if its open; otherwise, I suggest you do everything you can to ensure your kids don't find out about it, or it's all they'll talk about all the way to White Sands NP).Inexpensive gasoline, and relatively few "hard luck story" panhandlers during my brief stop; again, my experience of expensive fuel and expensive bums is SoCal related, so your comparison may vary.I thought for a minute while I was there: "Hey, it's 8 AM, it's 38°F outside, I'm on vacation... I'm getting a breakfast burrito!" But my wife, who can read minds (especially mine) knocked on the window of my truck while I was gassing up and mouthed "NO!" But if you wanted a burrito, or you know, if your wife isn't psychic, there's a little joint inside that makes burritos, and they smelled pretty good when I went in to get some waters for our long road trip that lay ahead.As roadside gas station convenience stores, go, this place was pretty good. And the restroom inside was clean and stocked, so it's already better than 90% of similarly targeted businesses in Arizona and California east of Hemet.I'll probably stop in here again on my next big roadtrip on the 10. And if my wife isn't with me, I'm totally getting that burrito.

Oh my god, I'd give these morons a negative rating.Since Circle K bought the Pic Quik chain in Las Cruces they're even worse than the old Pic Quik stores. I thought Pic Quik was a rip-off till Circle K bought them. I went to get gas at the one on Avenida de Mesilla this morning. The first pump I pulled up to the screen on the pump was all pixilated and I had already stuck my card in the slot to authorize the pump. It wouldnt funtion so I pulled my card out and canceled any transaction that might have occurred. Then , being agitated, I pulled around to another pump to try it. Long story short I used my card and the pump wanted me to enter my pin number. Well, that went over like a lead balloon and by this time I was really pissed. I got my card and drove off in frustration and forgot to put the gas cap on. Lost my gas cap after going back to look for it and couldn't find it. Had to go to AutoZone and purchase another 20 dollar gas cap and drove to another station to fillup. There is no way in hell I'll be patronizing any Pic Quiks or Circle K's again. Those two businesses lost a customer today. Gasoline in Alamogordo and El Paso is around 35 cents to 75 cents a gallon cheaper right now. Why is the gd gas in Cruces so high priced?

You can get money orders. The burritos are so good they big for two meals like. Dr pepper better syrup then seven eleven and circle k.

Nice clean place. Gas is expensive compared to other places nearby $2.09 compared to $1.89 Gas is also a lot more expensive than what you see reported on Apps. Ice is expensive compared to other locations. $2.99 for a small bag. Yessir can do better.

Located off the I 10 freeway. Right across the street from LA Quinta hotel. It is a convenient gas station with whatever you need to get through your trip. Right now gas is about 1.99 per gallon. There is a burrito express in there for the hungry. I believe these stores are chains like we have QT and Circle K in Arizona. Staff is nice at this location and they are quick.

Always has the best prices in town! But oh boy do I outta tell ya. I got one nasty whiff from the young man closing up last nightI'm not sure what it was but I didn't even want to grab my change out of his hands! Hygiene is important!

Honestly this is consistently the worst Pic Quik in town. I've been to many others where the staff are more than professional and polite but every time I come here they are rude and downright unhelpful. Wouldn't let me use the PUBLIC restroom at shift change because it was clean... so why clean it if people aren't allowed to use it once it's clean? Oh, because they don't want to have to clean it again at the end of their shift. I've never had a positive experience with the staff here. Go to literally any other Pic Quik if you can. Especially in the early hours of the morning.
