Pet Planet Hotel & Day Camp

Staff at Pet Planet Hotel was friendly, attentive to my dog's individual needs, he takes anxiety medication when needed.They gave my dog a Bordetella shot due to the fact I did not have one when my dog was dropped off. The facility is sparkling clean and very impressed with their outdoor play facility.Few things I was disappointed with; was the quality of the bath that I paid $50 for, think I could have done a better job myself. I also left a few messages regarding how my dog was getting along and it took days for them to get back to me. Also, paid extra for a king size suite so I could check the web cam once in awhile. The instructions they gave me did not work.Overall, I was impressed with the facility and most likely take my dog back.

I have Day Boarded and Boarded my dogs at Pet Planet and I would not take them anywhere else. The staff is great and the customer service is outstanding. I highly recommend Pet Planet Hotel and Day Camp!

My original rating was 5*. I posted this place was exceptional bc they had a "special " going where FREE nail trims were offered. After the special ended, I paid $10 for the service. Tuesday, I went back and was told I needed 2.... Yes, 2 services. I was appalled!‍ I'll never go back again. And my picture is removed.

I dropped my dog off on a Tuesday and picked her up on Wed and they insisted I owe them for two days.The owners are out of state and purposelymake themselves unavailable.I was using this business for years but no longer.

The sole purpose of this review is to share my experience and not to blame anyone of lack of care. I recently left my two puppies, 7 months and 4 month old in their care feeling pretty confident they would be well cared for. I received daily reports which showed the puppies were doing great. I do not believe my two babies did well there at all. After picking them up, I thought for a minute I picked up the wrong puppy. I did not recognize the 4 month old. Her face was drawn and her eyes glazed. Both puppies felt as they had lost weight and both smelled of urine. What saddened me the most was how thirsty and hungry they were. Once they got a sufficient amount of water, food, a bath and rest, both were both back to their happy, playful selves. My four month old eye's are now bright and full of joy and there is literally a smile on her face. And they both contacted Kennel Cough. Both puppies were vaccinated before hand, I made sure of that. The vet informs me that Kennel Cough is common in boarding facilities and recommended cough syrup. I am keeping a close eye on them as they will hopefully fully recover in the next few weeks. I understand that no one will care for our precious ones as we do. Please consider carefully if boarding is the right choice for your babies.

Dangerous place for your pet! My dog was wounded and given back to me, and no staff said anything. Then when I raised the question, we were told we were not welcome back. Not well run or managed.

Looks like a nice place, took the tour and will drop our dog off for day care. Make sure your vet-administered vaccine records are up to date.

I have tried multiple cat boarding in LAS CRUCES and hands down it's the best. Every night, I get report card on how my cat did during the day. I have all ways get quick response to my texts and never felt my phone calls were a bother. Prices for boarding are reasonable and love the options of play time for additional fee. My cat is shy and gets private play time. Most importantly I was listen to when voiced my concerns,she is a very abused rescue cat and to be gentle with her.

Awesome place-trust the hound! My dog LOVES coming here to play at day camp-the dogs are well supervised and my dog is worn out and happy every time she visits. Nice Folks!

We love to take our dogs to the amazing people at Pet Planet. We usually board our 2 puppies for 7 days a couple of times a year and they always are well taken care of and given back just as we left them. We consistently receive daily updates on how our babies are doing and won't board with anyone else. If you care about your animals take them to Pet Planet!!
