A member of the community opens its doors!Perches has been part of the EP community for many years. Last weekend they opened its doors to celebrate an early dia de los muertos. The staff welcomed guests to see the various altares in their museo de funerales. A tour of the museum was free and the staff was super friendly in informing us tmm about Salvador Perches" dream to take over the family funeral home business, and the development of taking care of our beloved after their passing Also on the grounds we're a country le of food trucks and Lucha Frontera provided some lucha libre entertainment. We enjoyed aguas frescas and tacos from the food trucks and enjoyed the high flying elbows, leg drops, and suplexes offered by the wrestling entertainers from Lucha Frontera.Looking forward to Día de los Muertos this weekend!

Experience here was absolutely awful. The assistant director was not diligent in the slightest when compiling a quote for my family. He often asked the same question over and over again and was agonizingly slow to answer any questions we had for him. Needless to say, we immediately looked elsewhere to have our funeral needs met.The decor was also, quite frankly, creepy. Creepy paintings, creepy furniture. Definitely do not recommend!

This funeral home promised to be with us every step of the way when the time came to say goodbye to our loved one and they certainly delivered. The staff was compassionate, understanding, and patient. They listened to our desires and worked hard to make the funeral experience a meaningful and memorable one. Our loved one was a veteran and the funeral home staff worked exceptionally hard to ensure all military honors were rendered. Family members who came from out of town were impressed with the location, the funeral home staff, and decor, as well as the proximity to hotels and other necessary amenities. We can not thank Perches Funeral Home - West enough for all that they did!

I would recommend going elsewhere for services. The secretaries do not speak English and getting a message to anyone else is impossible. They do not return phone calls or give updates regarding the status of death certificates or availability of cremains. My biggest disappointment was the fact that the quotation that I gave to them for the funeral card had spelling errors. I specifically asked them to verify spelling. I was assured spelling would be correct. It wasn't. We had to go to Walgreens to print funeral cards at the last minute so that they could be passed out during the service.

This is for the Perches on East side (Joe Battle). Made appointment to be seen. The secretaries don't speak English. Had to wait till she got a hold of someone. Then we were taken into a room and sat there for 20 mins. We found out before they did what time the service at the church was, because they didn't call the church. The informal viewing is NOT at this location, something they didn't tell us. We would have chosen another funeral home. We chose everything on the east side for a reason. Ugh. Communication with family is awful.
