I was so hungry after waiting almost an hour to order I just chose to eat the burger they brought. I ordered it medium, but the outside was burned and the inside was dry. It also came with no cheese even though I had ordered it. The waiter recognized that they had messed up my order before I noticed, but I chose to keep it because we had waited so long for it. When he asked how everything was I was honest with him. He said he would let the cooks know things weren't good. Nothing was ever became of it. Whatever - this is why I'm writing this review. I won't be going back. Edit: I forgot to mention that my sister-in-law had to get up TWICE and grab a pitcher of water from the waiter's station because the waiter would never come around and refill our drinks.

Greeted by Alecia, and she gave us a fun tour of the history of the building. Make sure you ask! Alex was our server and she was fantastic! Gave us her favorites, answered questions, kept our water glasses full without intruding- all good. Now let's talk about the food. YUMMY! I had the turkey, bacon, Bree and blueberries sandwich with regular fries. It was fantastic. My aunt had the Kobe burger and said it was absolutely the best burger she's ever had. My mom had the pineapple chicken salad. That dish was so pretty we had to take a picture of it - and then it was tasty too! This is certainly a place I'll come back to - for both the hospitality and the food quality.

The best part about this place is the atmosphere. So much greenery and old school decor with amazing classic music. Service was also wonderful, shout out to our girl Cameron. Kobe Burger was my favorite! Famous chicken mesilla was good. I highly recommend these two items. Looking forward to returning.

Ambiance is perfect, the greenery around was very calming and relaxed. I ordered the pineapple chili margarita. Worth every sip. Also we ordered the beef nachos. It's more than enough for 3 people. Service was just as expected. No problems.

Wanted to really enjoy it but overall experience was an average 3 stars. So much history and a beautiful atrium filled with plants. Would recommend for a casual drink. Food however was average, there is better New Mexican food in the area. Service was okay but staff were unknowledgeable about food allergies or ingredients in menu options. Seemed a bit hectic with staff running all around and not very efficient. No manager that I observed walking around and checking on things.

Fist time to this location it is very beautiful the ambiance is amazing it almost feels like you are in another country or place. Service is great the young lady was great and attentive. I had a burger think it was the Jack something with bbq sauce it was good not that bad I did ask for medium well and got full cooked. Was not a bad burger was decent. But the place has a lot of charm to it.

This place has a lovely atmosphere with a very nice bright and airy atrium filled with plants and a fountain. I took my sister there for her 87th birthdayafter looking up their menu on line and seeing a few of our favorite foods on offer. Unfortunately we did not stay to eat because there was an entirely different menu and what we came for was no longer available. Sadly we will not be trying it again.

The historic place is amazing. The food was less than appetizing. The service was poor. We ordered the posole which I definitely don't recommend. The restaurant was not busy, the waitress didn't check back to ask if we liked the food. She took the order, brought the food and 20 minutes later brought the check. It would have been a customer service courtesy to ask why the meal was uneaten. Any other restaurant would have asked if we wanted something else.I did like the iced tea.

Arrived at 6:18 pm on September 1st and the manager (Aileen, I think was her name) immediately gave a bunch of attitude. She told me it was a 45 minute wait without asking if we have a reservation or our name. She very aggresive and hostile in both tone, demeanor, and word choice. I informed her we have a reservation and sat us soon thereafter, but was very bratty. While waiting to be seated, we heard her tell several other people waiting outrageous wait times. The wait times were outrageous because there were plenty of open tables, little to no other parties waiting and plenty of waitresses. It appears she was making an excuse for her poor management. She was also trying to "train" what appears to be a new host. She was very hostile with him, demeaning him in front of customers. I felt bad for him cause it appeared he was really trying. Finally sat down at apprapproximately 6:24 pm. Ordered our meals at approximately 10 minutes later. Food arrived around 7:35 pm. Interesting to note, I never once saw someone clearing tables after customers left. There were at least 5 dirty tables in the area around us.Food was cold, lacked flavor, poorly presented and had small portions. I am not being hyperbolic when I say it was the worst New Mexican food I have ever had.The waitress was very polite and attentive. Her name was Aaliyah. She was the only positive part of the dining experience. I felt bad for her because I am sure she was getting an earful from other customers. And she also has to worked with her rude, angry manager. Finally, the failed to check me on the OpenTable app, and so it got reported that I missed the reservation. OpenTable said I risked having my account suspended. Thankfully I was able to fight it and prove that I was there by sharing a copy of my receipt. But still, this is the result of the manager not asking for the name of our reservation. This could be the worst and most poorly managed restaurant in New Mexico.

A huge shout out to the resident artisan bartender at the beautiful beloved historic Peppers / Double Eagle! The lady with the short light hair that creates the drinks that are sublime and festively eye catching! I'm sorry I didn't get a name but you know who you are!
