Another local place that use to be good. They have changed a lot in the last year. If you came here for the bread and beans before your meal it's no longer given. Now you can pay for chips and salsa. The prices have just gotten to be a lot here for what you get. I wouldn't mind the prices if you still got the beans and bread but you're not. Last time we went our bill was almost $150 for four people. Nothing special was ordered. No liquor, appetizers or desserts.

So-So Restaraunt nothing special Staff was not very nice whatsoever and unknowledgeable about their dishes and . food was mediocre and one of my dishes had to be sent back, but they removed it from the check with no problem whatsoever. Maybe you will have a different experience than me, I probably won't be coming back.

We ate dinner here with some friends. We were promptly greeted and seated, and our friendly and efficient server took our drink orders. The Prickly Pear Margarita was a hit at the table. We skipped appetizers and ordered our meal. I had the NY Steak with baked potato and salad. The salad was nice and fresh and was a good size. The steak was cooked as ordered (medium rare), but it wasn't the highest quality of cut and had some gristle. It could have used some more seasoning. My wife's ribeye looked to be a better cut of meat, and she enjoyed the steak. The baked potato came out nice and hot. For dessert we enjoyed a nice slice of Pecan pie. Overall, it was a pleasant dinner with friendly service.

Good portions, friendly staff, good food =real steak fresh cut fajita. Brought bread and beans to the table for appetizer.

Tried this restaurant last night for the first time and I will not be back. Lots of empty tables but "no tables available and 2 tables in front of you so might be a while." No actual time frame provided. We opted to wait. No one left but about 30 minutes later there was magically a table for all of us waiting. Hmm.Now on to the review:Entrees:1. My Ribeye was not cooked properly. I ordered Medium and I received well (around the outside) and mid well in the middle. The mid well pieces were cold. Something tells me they put a frozen steak in the microwave to "thaw" it a bit and then threw it on the grill to "cook" it. Didn't notice the sour meat smell until it was too late. Paying for that miss today since I now have a stomach ache.2. Dad's Sirloin and Ribs were missing the Ribs.... The Waitress failed to tell him that they did not have any more ribs, instead she just changed to order to a Sirloin.Sides:1. Corn was good. However it was cold. BUT, is it possible to screw up corn? Lol2. Mashed Potatoes - Dad -serving size was small but, ok.3. Beans - Dad likes beans no matter how they taste. Only exception would be if they tasted like dirt. So, ok.4. Salad - The one part of my meal I enjoyed.Ala Carte order1. Onion Rings - Good but, expected more than 4 for the price.Service:The waitress we got was slow and had poor communication. My Dad would have gotten a different menu item if she had told him there were no ribs. When she came to bus our table we asked for the check. She seemed upset that we didn't allow her to offer dessert but, that was the fastest she moved when she got our check. The hostess was indifferent when my Dad complained about the lack of ribs on his "steak and ribs" meal and had to be asked to check the receipt to make sure he wasn't charged. All in all a crap experience. I had high hopes for the food here and was let down. If you are going to spend $30 per plate, find someplace else to give your money to.

Tried this during the week in the early afternoon. I found the restaraunt to be clean. and the waitstaff was attentive. It had a nice looking bar. I ordered the captains platter which was FIsh, Shrimp, Fires and Slaw. It was excellent and I would gladly order it again. Drove back again in the evening and it was busy.

This was recommended by a local and I was super happy with the service, portion size, and great tasting salad and appetizer. The other things on the menu looked just as good as they were being served and I could tell these are returning customers. They even worked with me voluntarily on lowering the price of my salad due to not wanting any chicken on my Ceasar salad. I highly recommend this restaurant and will definitely go back if I pass this way again.

The food and service were excellent. Highly recommend the carne asada tacos! My partner had the burger with sweet potato fries - also excellent.

This used to be my wife's favorite restaurant in Benson. The experience today was especially disappointing. The entree was overcooked and dry. The side portions were smaller, while prices were higher. This restaurant used to be packed all day long, but there were a lot more empty tables today.

The Carne Asada was great, and the pulled pork sandwich and sweet potato fries was AWESOME. Our server Cathy, was technically proficient and extremely pleasant. We will visit anytime we are near Benson.Thanks Again, Cathy.
