Have not been here in years because of the food and service. I dang sure should have looked at the reviews before we went tonight talking about absolutely horrible. Did not set at the grill just at a table food was ice cold egg rolls tasted like old grease Cucumber salad were old cucumbers they were slimy. Wife's food also ice cold. May as well of throwing 75.00 in the trash All waiters said was sorry!

The staff here truly cares about their guests. They were attentive, courteous, and polite. They made us feel like VIPs. My plate was so filling and scrumptious. The cozy atmosphere, soft lighting, and elegant decor create the perfect setting for any special occasion.

The food was delicious.The service was slow. It was not even busy in our section. Unless, our server was helping out another server's section that needed help but he didn't say anything. He took his time to take our order. Our food took awhile. Some of us didn't get our soup. We had to asked for the rest of our soups. And, charging us at the end took awhile.The quality for my dish was $42.76 (with a $6 charge in it). A $42 plate of shrimp and scallops, with a sprite is too pricey. And, the scallops wasnt cook all the way. It was a little cold....I am better of going to Hook and reel a few miles down.I went here because I was told the quality is better here in Odessa than Midland...Just try another Japanese spot for a bigger portion, same quality, but $20 cheaper else where.

Came out for a date night with hubby as we were in the mood for hibachi. Osaka is one of the only places in the Midessa area that has this option, so it's where we went. No host to greet us when we entered. Just an iPad to check in. Wait stated 20-30 minutes. We registered and sat at the bar. Our wait was about 30-40 minutes. We got seated with another party in the back. And there we sat for about an hour until our chef came out. The grill wasn't even on so we had to wait another 15 minutes for it to turn on. During this time, we didn't even get the soup and salad that is included on the hibachi menu. We saw our server twice through the whole experience. No refill. Never asked if we wanted another beverage. Our chef was amazing. The food was great! He started cooking at 920pm and was done by 945pm. We got delicious, hot food with large portions. We were happy for our chef and the food. However, the lack of hospitality and service just could not make up for it. The food needs to be stellar for me to wait 2hrs for my meal. Also, would like to get ALL the food that was promised and paid for. Also wished the tab had an area to specify how much tip we wanted to give to the server vs the chef. The ATM machine didn't work. So who knows if our additional tip that was designated for the chef actually got to him.

The service from waiters were great and respectful I even made a joke you get a huge drink so I sad wow you really make sure we don't run out she laughed and said no refills jokingly. The chairs make me feel tall. The food tasted so good I got another roll 10/10 would it here again. The environment looks cool they have a little hibachi area there are a few dragons too!

El servicio al cliente no se como sea, pero como tratan a los trabajadores ahí, horrible, tanto el dueño como los managers, no aconsejo para nada trabajar en un lugar así, donde tratan a los trabajadores como esclavos y no tienen ningún respeto entre ellos

If you want to pay a fortune, then eat at Osaka. Not only was the food horrible but the service was horrible. If you have a group of eight or more, make sure you look for a gratuity charge because they do not let you know there is one and I basically paid a double tip which wasn't worth it. Shame on you people. I'll never come back to this place again.

Poor service from waiting 15+ minutes on drinks and the grill wasn't turned on and we had to wait almost an hour before our food was even on the grill then it ended up being very mediocre with entirely too much margarine and not enough seasoning
