Came to the wrong location. I was supposed to meet my buddy at their Odessa spot (long story). After I had entered, the staff was very friendly and sat me down quickly. It was 8:25pm, and they closed at 9pm. Even though they were closing soon, I didn't feel rushed to order or to eat. Shawn kept checking on me and did his work with efficiency. The space is roomy with lots of tables for small and large groups. Very playful atmosphere, especially if you eat at the hibachi tables.I started with a couple of cocktails and a plate of their spicy calamari...very tasty! Main course was the Sukiyaki steak plate, cooked medium. It was very tender and full of deliciousness.I'll definitely come back to try more items.

Terrible service during lunch, it wasn't busy, it was very dark lighting wise, the food is way over priced and actually terrible in quality. Also, who the hell charges $2 extra for the tonic in my gin?! Go to Volcano or somewhere else. Zero stars, this place sucked and was a waste of my money. Oh yeah, the waitress couldn't speak or understand English very well.

Some of the worst Chinese (Yeah I know it's a Japanese themed restaurant but it's Chinese food, Lo mein? cough cough.....) food I've ever had. Been here multiple times but brought by people who really haven't tried great Asian food. It's oily, bland, and overpriced. I don't see the hype in this place besides a strategic location. The service isn't any better, but it's Midland. Order a unsweet tea and go elsewhere.

Crazy overpriced and unimpressive basic American style hibachi/sushi restaurant. You would think for the cost you'd be getting something at least average, but you'd be wrong. I had a 3 protein hibachi plate, $40 for the worst me of this type I have ever had. Food had been cooked on way too low a heat and had no browning/char whatsoever. I didn't bother with the sushi because everything was wildly over priced. Service was fast and attentive, which was much appreciated as I was just shoveling food into my face alone on a business trip.

The service was awful, the girl was clearly brand new. She didn't understand the menu or the system and consistently asked for help. Seriously, don't put people on the floor if they can't handle it. The hibachi "show" lacked. Same ole rice and onion thing, nothing else no interaction at all. The food was Atrocious, fried rice was undercooked(crispy), the filet was incredibly chewy and under seasoned, veggies were still crunchy and the noodles were mushy with no flavor. On top of all of that, the bill was $129 even after sending back the sushi that looked and tasted as if it were from yesterday's dinner rush. Save yourself a ton of money and disappointment and go to volcano! Much better food and service.
