Was really hesitant to start Orange theory, I'm so glad I signed up. The coaches are amazing, The workouts are challenging but fun. Doesn't matter what level of fitness you are in, you will definitely get a good workout. The front desk staff are always willing to help and guide you. First 2 classes are free if you want to try it out.

Negligent management charged me for TWO memberships instead of cancelling my membership as requested. I was a member for about a year and there is an extremely high turnover rate for coaches. Overall, I don't think the experience at this studio is worth the price they charge.

I moved to El Paso temporarily and was excited to get back with OTF after a hiatus due to the pandemic. This location is wonderful and I absolutely recommend you giving it a try! :) Super friendly staff (Kennedy - you're just the best!) and the trainers, Sydney, Devon, and Colleen rock and all have their own sparkle!:)

So I've never been the type of girl who loves to workout. In fact, I downright loathe it. However, like most Americans I started a weight loss journey at the beginning of the year. Lucky for me, Orangetheory opened a brand new studio just around the time I typically crap out and give up on my NYE resolutions. Admittedly I was a late adopter, they opened in early April and I didn't officially join until May after some coaxing from a friend. By the time I had joined, I had already lost a decent amount of weight from diet modification/intermittent fasting along with walking 5k's around my hilly neighborhood. OTF was just what I needed to kick up my workout to the next level and keep my progress going! As intimidated as I felt going into my first class, I quickly got over that when I realized this truly is an authentic workout studio with amazing coaches who give personalized attention and coaching. Monica is my absolute favorite, but I've had a class with every single coach there and they are all really good! Even better, the other people who go there give off a non judgmental vibe and there's a wide range of ages and fitness levels. This is awesome and isn't easily found elsewhere. It can be a little on the pricy side which is why I chose an 8 class per month package initially, but by month two I found myself actually having FOMO on the days I wasn't going, so I chose to upgrade to the unlimited package. It's a hard core workout and you burn a lot of calories during the hour you're there so I feel like the time is well spent and efficient. I love their concept of monitoring your heart rate and for those who are competitive like myself, it motivates me to work a little harder to gain those splat points. The coaches push you in ways I would never push myself at home and that in itself makes it money well spent in my book. I figure it's like having a personal trainer every class. Oh and what's even better is you'll never do the same exact class twice, it's constantly being changed up so your body will thrive with the variety. The entire country does the same workout you're doing that day so if you have family or friends in other cities with an OTF studio it's fun to compare notes after the workout and chat on the online forums with other OTF junkies. The one complaint I hear from others is their strict 8 hour cancellation policy. Basically, there's only room for 24 people in each class and you schedule those via the studio or their handy app in advance. Because there is sometimes a wait list on the most popular class times, they require you to cancel 8 hours in advance so your slot can be given to someone else. I feel it's a fair policy and honestly, I love it because it keeps my lazy ass accountable and forces me to get my behind to class even when I'm not 100% feeling it. I'm always glad I went afterwards! I never thought the day would come where I would write a review on a fitness center or gym of any type, but here we are! If you're thinking about trying it, just do it! Your first class is free and hit me up because if I refer you you get a discount and so do I!

Like many people, last year was a huge detriment to my health and overall fitness level. I packed on extra weight working from home and right about the time I started getting back into working out and was seeing results, I got COVID. Even months after recovering, I felt exhausted, unmotivated, and very easily winded. I needed a massive kick in the ass. I thought back to the last time I felt genuinely excited to work out...which was in 2018 as a member of OTF in Columbia, SC. I was a little surprised to find out that there is only one location in El Paso, but I made the 25-minute trek over there at the beginning of the year. After my first workout with Coach Monica ("Mo"), I knew it was going to be worth the cost and the trip. Especially if you're pressed for time, there is nowhere else out there that can do your body this much good in an hour. There's a lot of science and careful planning behind these workouts and they are scaleable to all abilities and fitness levels. I started out going around four times a week, and now it's the best part of my daily life. I have to force myself to take a day off, which is hard because there's always something exciting going on. Trust me, you can develop a serious case of FOMO at this place! I'm about to hit my 60th workout this week. I'm stronger, I'm healthier, I'm faster, I have way more energy, and yes, I've definitely lost weight. The coaches are amazing, the other members are great, and when I move back to the east coast in June, leaving OTF Cornado is going to be the thing I miss the most about my year here.

Have been coming since OTF Coronado opened and love everything about this gym. The front desk staff are wonderful and greet clients by name when we enter, manager is friendly and accommodating. The coaches take the cake though! They are upbeat, positive people who know how to motivate their clients. Exercises are friendly to all levels of fitness. Each is explained and demonstrated prior to clients doing them with optional modifications and if needed they will modify even more. Coaches circulate throughout the floor interacting with everyone, offering corrections, motivation or encouragement when needed. Each class is an hour long...but it flies by! Extremely clean facility. Wish I could give them 6 stars!

Just an update to my review since I've now been a member for a few months. I really love the unlimited option because I am traveling a lot this year for research and rotations and the unlimited membership lets me go to a studio anywhere. There are some cities where I haven't had an OTF gym available which stinks because then I'll go two weeks without working out but most majors cities have a few gyms and if one isn't available you can pause your membership for two months a year I believe :)Excited to be the first to review otf! I heard about otf a few years ago and last year a girlfriend of mine from the bay started going 3 days/week after her divorce and after 3 months of otf, she looked incredible. I had been interested in trying it out but there wasn't an otf in El Paso till now! So the second I saw they were opening a spot up here, I signed up. In two weeks, I've gone 8 times. Every trainer is awesome. They have such a good, encouraging vibe and it makes the experience 100x better. I used to do soulcycle and one of the things I hated about soul was that I was paying a ton for the class and the people were kinda assholes. Otf is the exact opposite. You pay for sure, but they're really welcoming and encouraging. This is the first time in my life where I'm not working out to be thin but instead to be stronger. It's much more satisfying to not measure progress by a scale, but instead by how much I can lift. You compete with yourself and no one else and you get to see your progress in real time with the heart rate monitor.

I am new to Orangetheory (via another location in California) and I visited this location while in town with family. After I got over my amazement that El Paso is finally getting (well-deserved) quality businesses, I paid a visit, and let me tell you, I was so impressed with the location (where it's at and the ample parking available), size (coming from a California studio, this one is cavernous) and people, including the front desk (who all welcomed me as a visitor, were very easy to talk to and put me at ease, as it's always interesting visiting a new studio and being a guest in their community) and especially Coach Heather, who I took my class with. Coach Heather was so motivating, calling out small victories (raising the pace on the treadmill, for example), checking in on everybody and making sure everyone was committing to themselves; she even remembered that I was a visitor and thanked me at the end of the class. In terms of the workout, I loved how there were all kinds of members in all different levels of their fitness journey -- there is no judgement, the class is only an hour, which flies by, everyone works at their own pace, and (in contrast to gyms), you don't have to worry about a thing -- you just show up and every day has a new workout that the coaches take their time demonstrating to you (while also offering modifications in case of injury)! This truly never felt like a gym, and I actually enjoy working out! There's so much positive energy here -- you have to try it at least once!

This place is awesome! The staff is incredibly nice and welcoming, and each of the coaches have their different styles that can motivate you to be your best. They help all beginning levels of fitness. I've shed about 25 lbs since joining, and I feel so much better in my every day life!

Of all the OTF's I have been to around the country; very easily the worst OTF studio. Sydney is the only good coach and the FRONT DESK IS A DISASTER. I was 3 minutes late due to the freeway being shutdown and they would not allow in class. This OTF needs major help
