Delicious cake that is equally beautiful! They are very responsive and worked with me to design a custom cake for my wife's birthday based off of her wedding dress. I could not be happier with the outcome and can't wait to order again.

Julie is such a sweet soul! She is so professional and a master at her craft! We have used her for numerous family birthday occasions and holidays. We are a vegan family and you cannot even tell the difference especially when some of her cakes are the best, vegan or not! Some cake flavors we have enjoyed are carrot cake, chocolate, and vanilla. During the holiday we ordered a gluten free vegan pecan pie and it was so delicious! She is based out of Central at the moment. Support a local baker who is not only professional but a wonderful person.

Super sweet spot for that sweet tooth fix!! Very reasonable prices too to go with her awesome selection of goodies. Ive had her linzers (which is basically a lil pie tart thing and delish!), biscottis, cheesecakes, and some sheet cakes she whipped up for special occasions. The sheet cakes are so good without the frosting being overly sweet. They tasted light with a perfect balance of the frosting. Linzers and biscottis are a must try! I wasnt too crazy about her cheesecakes tho. I tried her gluten free one which kinda had an off texture and taste overall. I also special ordered a chocolate peanut butter cheesecake for my husband. I wish i specified how he woulda liked the cheesecake since she used chunky peanut butter and the crust had a coconut like flavor/texture to it. Both which he didnt really enjoy as he doesnt like nuts in his desserts or anything different from the classic graham cracker crust. And the chocolate layer on top was too hard to even eat with the rest of the cake.But aside from that, the rest of her desserts are great! And to add to her wholesome flair, she also has these excellent infused olive oils to purchase and even sample before you buy. Bacon flavored olive oil is a must try!You gotta stop by and give this place a try! Its a small spot so really easy to miss. So look for her sign!

DISAPPOINTING!I decided to give this place a try due to the great reviews but what I got made me feel like I got ripped off. I have gotten better looking cakes at Walmart/Sam's and for a fraction of the price. Regarding the taste is was cake, nothing different. When I placed the order I expected something nicer and expressed how I expected a great taste, specially knowing that it will get done by a pastry chef. I support local business, and she gave me good customer service but I can't say I would recommend this place.

Would highly recommend Orange Peel to anyone in the EP area looking for gluten free and or dairy free desserts. Julie made a delicious chocolate birthday cake and everyone loved it! Will definitely order from here again in the future.

Three words: gluten free cannoli. I grew up with an Italian grandmother who used to make cannoli, so when I stopped eating gluten I thought I would never taste one again. Orange peel brought back those memories in the form of a delicious pistachio gluten free taste of heaven. Of course they are not exactly like grandma used to make, but they are better than I could imagine and you can't even tell they're gluten free by taste. Everything I've had has been wonderful and they really do use caution when it comes to food allergies. I've never had any issues after eating their baked goods, and it will continue to be my favorite "treat yo self" spot in El Paso.

I just recently ordered a custom cake & cupcakes for my son's birthday & not only was it beautifully hand crafted but it was also delicious, fun, adorable, & much better than I anticipated. The chef is amazingly friendly, skilled, & thoughtful. She was very helpful, thorough, & a delight to work with :) I definitely will be ordering all our special occasion cakes from this bakery from now on, & recommending it to all our friends :)

Julie has an amazing talent! When I was planning my friend's bridal shower from Chicago, I was able to talk with her over the phone to plan an extraordinary array of goodies for the shower! She was able to help me with the amount that would be needed and decorative planning too since the shower had a specific color palette. AND to top it off, the pricing was extremely reasonable for what I got!! The desserts were delectable, lovely and delightful and such a hit with everyone that I hope I was able to send some business her way!The only reason why I didn't give her the full 5 stars is bc I did ask for an order of Red Velvet cupcakes, but only got the vanilla and chocolate ones that I ordered. Which, to be honest were more for me than anyone else.Other than that, perfect! Also, her French Macarons are TO DIE FOR!!!

Finally went here, after passing by while visiting Collectibles and the International Food grocery store (asian foods). Julie is very welcoming and down to earth. I ended up buying this pretty cake called Opera. Deliciously moist and a wonderful combination of flavors and textures. A perfect place for couples to get a fine dessert after/during a date. And the prices are not expensive at all - very affordable, especially for a nice treat. The best part is that she offers gluten-free and diabetic items so there is something for everyone. Most items need to be ordered at least a few days in advance, but she always has a display case of at least 5-6 items for those of us who want something to sample straight away.

Two words.... Cake PuddingIts amazing and inventive. The chef is very cool and friendly. Can't wait to buy more stuff from her. I wish she had some vegan options advertised though. She'd make a ton of money from the vegan locals.
