I came in from out of town and I was craving an elote en vaso. This will probably be the place I always go to for my elote fix. The corn is fresh and all the ingredients are the best. The lady who prepared it even put the Chile and and cheese lime and butter on the bottom of the cup. So when you reach the bottom you still had all the yummy goodness and not just the juice and corn. The papas locas were tAsty as well. I've never had them with lime on top make them even more addicting.

Great place that's covienent in the mall. Although it is in the mall, it's never been packed. Great stop if you need some authentic Mexican snacks. The Hot Yukky was sweet with a small kick and pretty good. One of the best Watermelon Gaia Fresca I've ever had!!! Great dorinachos that taste just like the ones in Juarez!!! And the carne seca was out of this world.

So I waked in here thinking it was still the previous business that sold Mexican snacks and fruit cocktail. I decided to order something just to give it a try since I had seen this shop when it was located elsewhere in the mall. Service is slow and the selections really didn't seem appealing to me but I figured I'd give something a try. I ordered the "Encuerados" which is a pickled pork rind snack (cueritos) some may think the name is clever but I think it's tacky. I thought I would get Tostitos with cueritos topped with cucumbers and their "house salsa" as they described it. Nope. I got a cup full of soggy Tostitos drowning in Mexican shrimp cocktail sauce with cueritos and pickles. The owners walked in with more chips to restock the store and didn't greet a single customer. I've never been to an establishment where the owners didn't greet customers or ask for some feedback, they reprimanded the cashier in front of customers and then said they were going shopping.

The food is pretty good and has authenticity. There are some problems: There's a really wobbly and broken table, a light is malfunctional, and the food is really overpriced. The tostielotes are almost $7 each, which is just for a small bag of chips and ingredients on the side (elote and sauces). The food isn't completely prepared, they make it your job to kind of prepare it to be eaten. Service is kinda bad. Still great, main problem is that its overpriced.
