NOT RECOMMENDED AVOID THESE APARMENTS. The apartment had alot of issues tile was cracked toilet seemed poorly set (crooked) carpet had alot of bleach spots windows didnt work well. But i didnt mind any of that what really made me hate living here was the Management Stella is the most rude unprofessional person i have ever met. My lease ended and she insisted that i pay next month's rent because i didnt give a notice when in fact the law says that only 30 day notices are needed when renting month to month. We will more than likely be taking this to court.

I gave written notice that I will not be continuing/renewing the lease and they claimed that I still owed them the next months rent when I went back to pick up my furniture (a week before my move out date) the locks were already changed and when I went to go tell them that I wanted my furniture and I still had a week they told me they "lost my paper work" so they couldn't prove my move out date. Other then that if you wanted to get ahold of management GOOD LUCK! Management was never in the office and when you called them they would try and get you off the phone as soon as possible instead of helping you with the issue. Signing the lease they told me they would work with my pay schedule which was not the case, I got paid the 15th and they knew this seeing as I sent in 4 letters from my place of work stating my pay schedule and they still would threaten to evict me when I couldn't pay on the first. not to mention my apartment was INFESTED WITH COCKROACHES it wasn't until I threatened them with court that they moved me to another available apartment in a separate building and CHARGED ME FOR HAVING TO PLACE ME IN ANOTHER APARTMENT. If I could give 0 stars I would.

Not recommended! The management here is awful. When asking for my move out instructions, I had to talk to 3 different people because no one could understand what I wanted. After talking to 3 people, they still thought I was wishing to terminate my lease early rather than just wanting instructions for moving out. Also, there are so many bugs that get in the apartments because the door doesn't have a good seal. Don't let the semi-cute apartment and lower rent fool you. The management will try to get as much money out of you as possible and they are never friendly aside from when you are signing your lease.

This is not a place you want to live. The management will only be kind until you sign the lease. Afterwards there is one who hides in her office with the blind drawn, lights off and hides behind her computer. God help you if she have to help you. She will be rude, roll her eyes and have an attitude. According to her she don't like people. Here's what I say to that "Go away then because no one will miss you or even like you" The other was nice Even when pregnant she acted better then the other. The apartments were outdated and all they did was raise the rent. If you complain about anything you will be looked on as a trouble maker. How about do your job and correct the problem. The cleaning lady was a joke. All the time she spent pretending to do her job she could have been doing it. Be warned you will have to clean your apartment when you move in because it will not be clean. The only good thing about The Omni is that for the most part it was quiet. Carol W.

The apartments themselves are well kept and well maintained. The maintenance was already great; always quick, helpful, friendly and thorough. The other tenants are mostly friendly and quiet. The neighborhood is somewhat safe, close to the university and convenient to other business locations. The problem lies in the manager. The new manager, Stella, is the most unprofessional person I have ever encountered. I have seen her hanging out with the tenants after work hours, flirting with tenants and speaking ill of tenants and her co-workers to other tenants. She has no clue how to properly run an apartment complex in a professional manner. Someone please train this woman on how to properly and professionally deal with others. I'd say you are better off finding an apartment elsewhere. You don't realized how much poor management can affect your living situation at an apartment complex until you have had to deal with a terrible manager like the one at this property. Find another place until this manager gets fired or sued, which will eventually happen.

I don't recommend renting from this place at all. I rented for a little over a year and the trouble started when my lease ended and I decided to move on. Little did I know that New Mexico law enables management properties to stipulate that renters must give notice 31 days in advance; so, if the month is only 30 days long, one must give notice in the previous month. So, to put it plainly, I gave notice on the first of September and was told that I had to give it on August 31st. This seems like such a minor discrepancy. I have rented for many years from several apartment complexes and never have I come across sticklers of the law as the property managers that work here. For not giving my month's notice ONE day earlier, not only did I have to pay an extra months rent (October) but I would lose my deposit as well (if I didn't pay October's rent). I consider myself a pretty good renter. I pay on time and I cleaned the apartment very well when I left the place. This did nothing when speaking with the landlord here. She wouldn't budge at all and the most galling thing she said was that she could actually go to prison if she didn't charge me an extra month's rent due to the fact that she would be treating me unfairly as regards to her other tenants since she would be giving me a break. She actually had the gall to state that she would be treating my unfairly unless she charged me an extra months rent. Apparently, she is very well used to screwing people this way before and had this little speech prepared long ago. This is the worst management I have ever seen and don't recommend living here at all. On another note, I must say that the maintenance here was good and very prompt with fixing anything that needed fixing.
