Olive & Poppy Italian Bakery

This business specializes in Italian style desserts which is exactly what I need for my upcoming dinner party. Unfortunately they were not as authentic as I needed. The bombolini were tasty but a little greasy; the cannoli filling was watery and the shells were over fried. The orange cake was pretty.

Delicious, adorable AND local! This place does NOT disappoint! I've tried a handful of their desserts and all were delightful. If you want to WOW your guests with something beautiful yet delicious, try the Olive & Poppy cake. I ordered it for a birthday and quickly ordered another to give as a Christmas gift. The nutella cornetti are hands down my favorite (so far). Order extra because you won't want to share. All orders have been ready in 24 hours or less for pick up or delivery.

Olive and Poppy, online specialty bakery was our choice for a family celebration. The occasion was made especially wonderful by Brian's outstanding blood red orange Italian cake. Just opening the box held a surprise for all: first of all the flat round cake looked like a stained glass window from the way this citrus fruit was arranged; some had never seen dark red oranges; and some did not know this specialty fruit grown in Florida and California. It tastes like orange mixed with raspberries and this is where the sweetness in your cake comes from--the fruit itself with a bit of sugar. Because of this, we think that it could be eaten at any time of the day and for any simple to elegant event. It is that versatil!Well, no one wanted to cut the beautiful cake so we all took many picturesfirst; had a fun time devouring the desert; and chatting about what we knew of or had experienced in Italy. Then we enjoyed a solemn moment to reflect on the delights that await us exploring more Italian creations from Olive and Poppy.

The Italian Creme cake is delicious. This is the real thing. We haven't had an authentication Italian Creme cake since we left Cleveland. We will be ordering cakes from them for sure‼
