This place is closed and when it was open they didn't let you enjoy cigars inside. The cigars and drinks were also a bit over price, the selection was okay however.

Devastated that this establishment lost their lease. As a non-drinker this was a place I could go a de-stress while MOB/DEMOBING. The staff was always knowledgeable and kind. As a female cigar smoker finding a place away from home to chat, smoke and bond is far a few between at a military post. Such as shame that Soldier input was not considered and or included. Being stuck on post without basic decent accommodations definitely encourages discomfort and decreases morale especially with gyms not being open.

Swanky spot for a lil drink and cigar. Their humidor has a pretty good selection most days but some days you can tell when they're still waiting on orders to come in. I love how theres live music they offer friday or saturday nights. Sometimes its jazz, a live DJ, salsa, and or a guitarist singing songs. They have a few tall tables inside and bar stools for their bar. They also keep some outside so one may be able to enjoy the music more. I absolutely love their selection of humidor kits too. I recently bought one that has a cherry wood finish to it and it includes a really nice ashtray, a pleather cigar pouch, cigar cutter, and theres a lil metal label i had engraved for my husband's annuversary gift. He absolutely loved it! And the kit was $85 which is pretty good for everything you get.

A cigar store on a military base? What's not to love? Very nice selection, and prices are in line with Tobacco Tin. Very friendly staff, I think he was the owner...if not he loves his job! Civilians can get on base by bringing current insurance/vehicle registration and photo ID to the Robert E. Lee gate for a day pass.http://freedomcrossingatfortbliss.com/contact-us/maps-and-directions/

The one and only place to get a cigar on Ft. Bliss. You can't smoke inside because hooah Army, but they've got a good selection. Plus, they have all kinds of whiskey and beer. And you can put your whiskey in a plastic cup, walk right outside, and light 'em up. So, four stars for humidor selection and outstanding variety of whiskey. They also have real shaving accessories. Razors, brushes, soap. Outstanding!

Excellent service with knowledgeable employees! The shop has a large, walk-in humidor where you can browse a large selection of fine products. Prices are clearly labeled so there are no surprises at the register. The staff is very accommodating if you need your cigar cut or ran out of fuel in your lighter. Because the shop is located on a military/government installation, they cannot allow you to smoke indoors by law, but there is a nearby smoking area with outdoor furniture to relax in. The best experience I've ever had at a smoke shop!

Absolutely excellent customer service for someone who doesn't know too much about cigars. Greeted once coming in the door and treated extremely well.Cigar selection has some great cigars at reasonable prices. Sells torch lighters at a good price as well as humidifier boxes. Cutters are a little above my range. Also has a couple tables and bar if you feel like relaxing at the shop. Will be returning frequently.

If you want to go get wasted and kill your brain cells, you go to a bar. If you want a refined atmosphere to get a tasteful drink, cigar or conversation, you go to Old Fort Bliss Cigar Co. They have a selection to please any palate and an expertise to guide even the newest smoker to the right choice. They offer are great product and education with it so that when you leave, you are confident in your purchase. But, why leave? Stay and enjoy a drink and a chill playlist of music while you become family with the staff. All in all, a great location and a great establishment.

I just started to frequent this establishment last year after driving by it numerous times on my way to the main PX or the food court. Initially, I was taken aback on how quaint it is and the collage of pictures adjacent to the bar. There is one portrait that grabs my attention, due to its authenticity and the year; e.g., 1927 El Paso. As far as the rest of the business goes, there's one restroom, which is unisex and always clean. There's also the main humidor room, which contains a plethora of cigars and is very well maintained with the wonderful aroma of tobacco. Throughout the business, there's some military memorabilia and different products of high end lighters, humidors, and men barbers accessories, such as shaving creams and straight edge razors. They do not sell Zippo lighters here, but one can find them in the main PX. As far as the bar goes, they primarily sell scotch, bourbon, and special beers. Interestingly, they do not sell Jack Daniels or Jim Beam. The products are more of a higher end. I recently met Rob and his attendant at the time named Jaime, who was fantastic. Each other bartender I have met in the past has not disappointed to say the least. I have learned a lot about the etiquette of drinking scotch and bourbon, along with the company of a great cigar. During the warmer months, they have live Jazz on Thursdays, just outside the main entrance. Downsides to this place, would be limited seating and one cannot smoke inside as well, however, this does not distract me from ever returning. Definitely going back, when time permits.
