Northeast Veterinary Clinic

All of the staff are incredibly sweet and kind! They make you feel very comfortable and take good care of your animal(s). I just moved to the El Paso area and didn't know where to go and found this place. Every time I've called with questions, the staff member is always so kind and pleasant on the phone.I went on Valentine's day to bring my cat in and as I checked her in, the receptionist gave me a little Valentine's Day card with my cat's name on it and little bags of cat treats. Was the best vet experience I've ever had! The only down side is since they don't do appointments and only do walk-ins, sometimes you have a long wait. Which isn't always the best with high anxious animals.

I would give 0 stars if I could. Appointment was at 10:30 and my pup didn't get seen till 11:20 almost an hour later. I specifically went to this vet cause they said appointments were priority but oh boy was I wrong. They took walk in after walk in and my pup and I just sat they're waiting. Finally get back to see one person and then waited another 30 minutes for the doctor to just do a $72 exam just to tell me there's nothing they can do besides show me how to bandage my dogs ear. So not only did I waste my time and gas. This I could have just googled. Absolutely would not recommend!!

Came here to have my Aunt's dog checked out and when i tell you the wait time is long, it is looonnggg ! Waited 2-3 hours in the lobby then they finally put me in the room and waited another 2 hours. Then requested to have the dog's anal glands popped/expressed so they had us wait in the lobby while doing which was another 30 minutes. The to top it all of the Clinic was short staffed! It's frustrating cause i'm brining in the dog cause i am concerned and have been coming here for years. Today has been worst day for my Aunt, her dog and myself. We stayed a total of almost 6 hours at this vet. 10/10 I DO NOT RECOMMEND !!!

**experience during covid-19 ** This place does require everyone to wear masks while inside the clinic for both customers and the staff members. They also have sanitizer available for anyone to use as needed. Let me tell you I had a stressful situation with my dog and they were able to take us in as walk-ins and took care of my dog. They have a pharmacy, lab, and x-rays in house so my dog was able to be diagnosed on the spot without having to go anywhere and also left with meds in hand. The doctor was very knowledgeable and helpful as far as answering the questions we had. She also took good care of my dog.The only negative thing I could say is it took all day! I was in the clinic a total of 7 hours, however, at least it was all good. They were nice enough to provide me with water twice since I didn't dare leave the clinic without my dog.

Spring 2021. I have visited the Northeast Veterinary Clinc many times in the past 6 weeks. My dog broke her paw on a Saturday around noon and they were the only Clinic in the area to promptly call me back and give me a same day appointment for my dog. They have a great system to handle the COVID19 restriction requirements and I have no complaints. It's actually perfect. They have been extremely caring to our needs and they are relatively affordable specially for the quality of care we have received. I am so glad my dog is now their patient.I highly recommend them.The only con is that due to their population unless it is an emergency its hard to get a "soon" appointment for any other type of care but the wait time is totally worth it.

Awful. We waited 2 hours just for a simple vaccine. You see the other reviews staff is beyond slow, they make the dmv look like a high paced environment. Don't waste your time they don't value your time so don't give them your money. PS expect to way even longer after you're seen just to pay!

The way my animal was handled was unprofessional even after I explained the circumstances they chose not to listen

Service is slow with no one waiting , just to get a check up and some shots over all good experience . Friendly staff and vets

Sat in the clinic for 6 hours, 2 of which were from waiting on fecal results. This place is ridiculous and don't recommend anyone wasting their time here.

Came to bring my puppy to get checked out. My dog was throwing up & as a dog parent we know that's never good. I walked in @5:20pm & they said they couldn't take my puppy in until the next day. I understand they close at 6pm, but you would think a vet would spare those 40 mins to at least see what's wrong with the dog or give recommendations.
