Went to this school years ago, it works for some. I always felt out of place and singled out. Finished my last few years in public school and then graduated with a degree in information technology. It was an experience that changed my life, don't know if it was the best path

This school provides a good Christian education and has excellent staff and teachers. My son has attended here for 5 years now. He has made good friends here and has enjoyed his experience at Northeast Christian Academy. We are moving soon and he is sad to have to leave this school.

BEWARE!!!!!!Northeast Christian Academy has gone down the drain once they decided to give Mr. Carlos the principal roll after only having 1/2 year teaching experience and never been a principal. He has no Christian values to the point of making a statement to my wife (previous teacher) stating that "Jesus is not in the heart of the elementary side of the school". I just had a conference with Mr. Carlos today regarding my 5 year old being choked by another student (7 year old) and i asked for an incident report and he told me that they don't file incident reports therefore the situation was not escalated. He told me without hesitation that i should just look for another school for my girls and to top it off, Mr. Carlos evicted both my daughters for no reason today. There was another incident as to why my wife was just fired from 3rd grade and my daughters were evicted and that's because a middle school student was showing other kids nude pictures of herself from her smartphone. My wife didn't even know about the situation or the pictures that student had until Mr. Carlos told her about it when she was questioned. Now Mrs. Meehan and Mr. Carlos knew about the pictures and did nothing about it. Mrs. Meehan is not getting any kind of disciplinary action for knowing about what the student was doing. She knew about it a couple of days before it was brought to light. Since they needed to fire someone, my wife to the short end of that stick. I went and spoke up about everything that has been going on in that school since Mr Carlos took over this year to Mr Carlos and he said "the school has been better since i took over" lol.... There is also a volunteer man by the name of Mr. Finney husban of Mrs. Finney the first grade teacher that again is only a volunteer, verbally harasses and yells at the grade school kids as if he was a teacher. He's not even employed at the school but yet he spends most days there in his wife's classroom or doing nothing other than yelling at the kids. I've witnessed this as he has yelled at my kid several times and if you have a kindergartner or first grader there, he has yelled at him/her too. Mr. Carlos personally told me today that they pretty much can do what they want because they have been involved at the school for over 40 YEARS!!! Please reconsider your options in choosing where your children are taught. Mind you, our family comes from a background of previous graduates from NECA and the school has never been this bad as it is now under Mr. Carlos' direction.

The principal has no experience. there are mids being hurt and nobody is taking care of it. There is a volunteer that screams at the kids and they let him do what ever he wants because he and his wife have been there for 45 years. my husband went to speak to the principal because my daughter was assaulted by another girl who was choking her and we didn't get noticed. my husband confronts the principal and he ends up evicting my girls instead of dealing with the girl that chokes my kid. The pre-k teacher has no idea what she is doing she lets the kids with burgers she doesn't clean them. one time a little girl urinated during nap time and she didn't change her. The first-grade teacher is mean to the kids, one day I saw her grab a kid by the arm really hard.

Although we stayed for a few years there was always an uneasy feeling about this school. I do feel informed enough to give an accurate description of what goes on there. For starters there is very poor leadership. The culture at the school among staff is one of gossip and drama. There are staff members that have been there many years that feel as though they own and run the school and decide who they like or don't for whatever reason and treat them accordingly. Besides the long timers (who are also friends with the leadership at the church and school) there is a very high turnover rate with teachers and office administration. There has been a different principal there for just about every year that we were there which was 5 years. Leadership there refuses to see that there are some problems among their staff (especially their friends). They would rather put the blame on the parent. As long as they do that, they will continue to have problems.
