Nopalito Restaurant

I give the chips 5 stars, the warm salsa 3 stars, and the food 2 stars. I ordered chicken enchiladas and they were mediocre. It seems like they use canned red sauce and has no flavor. The service was rushed but I get it, it was during the lunch rush and it was busy. The woman taking the order was not patient for my slow order, but it was my first time here, so I didn't know what they offered. Geez! Waited for the check that took forever. Went to pay and the same woman with no patient and no humor helped me again. Ugh! What's up with this town...? The ambience seemed very rushed. Don't go during the lunch rush. I won't be visiting this restaurant again.

This was very good and simple. You could tell that this place has been here for a long time and very much a town staple. The customer service was excellent and they made you feel like family. I would come here again for a good bite to eat.

Nopalito never disappoints. Always consistent with great food and the green Chile salsa is the best. I had a combination plate for lunch and everything was absolutely delicious. My wife had some huevos rancheros with green Chile and that was a major winner too. I was born and raised in Las Cruces so I've been eating here since I was a little kid. The crunchy tacos are a Las Cruces staple and Nopalito probably does them the best. One of my top three choices for New Mexican cuisine.

Simply love this local gem! Their food is fresh and made daily locally. If you want local flare there's no place better!

A good New Mex restaurant but not top ten in town. Food is good but not outstanding. Pleasant service.

Good food at a reasonable price. Love the warm green chili salsa and the Gorditas. The weight staff has always been friendly, and the food is served quickly.

Went late on Saturday afternoon, about an hour before closing. No attitude by the server. Very pleasant young lady, super attentive. Food was fast, hot, and delicious! Chips and salsa are the best and complimentary.. Was at a cafe in Mesilla just before and chips and salsa were $12! Remembered this little spot and went there instead. Glad we did!

Was seated and served quickly even though here during lunch rush. As we ate,not one customer waited for anything .... Even though Jenny was working alone. She was amazing. Kept my tea full. Food was very good. We had flat enchiladas Christmas style. The green chili here is yummy. We also had the chili rellenos. Delicious. They had green sauce. Could have used more but Jenny brought us additional green salsa so all was perfect.

This is my wife and I's go to place. Amazing green chili and great services every time.

I want to Nopalitos for the first time and was definitely not happy. I ordered two burritos. They were plain burritos no flavor. The price for two burritos was higher than normal. Especially because they were bean and cheese and Chile relleno. Poor customer service. Waited 30 minutes for 2 burritos. They supposedly gave my burritos to some else. I definitely do not recommend this restaurant.
