This Noodles & Dumplings is the one that is closer to UTEP and is a solid lunch spot if you are in a rush. In my experience, this one is not as good as the one on the west side but it might also be because it is a different experience. This restaurant is very small, and the way that it is set up seems like it is mostly for to go style orders. You order in front of a plexiglass covered spot that shows the kitchen and there are usually around 7 tables in the whole place. The Lan Zhou Spicy Noodle is my favorite here and it never disappoints. The noodles are pulled by hand which is always cool but I can't help but admit that they just aren't the best tasting noodles. I come here semi regularly. Will probably go back if I was in the area.

Noodles & Dumplings is a Chinese noodle chain in El Paso and this is their location near UTEP which is the closest to downtown. Maybe it was because I ordered via Uber Eats, but I thought the food was just average.Ordered Lanzhou noodles, pan fried bao (aka shengjianbao) and a green onion pancake. Prices are reasonable, though the food did not really stand out. The noodles had thin sliced pieces of beef and broccoli in a spicy soup that was on the oily side. Whereas the pan fried bao and green onion pancake suffered a bit from not being eaten right away. I do give credit for El Paso having a Chinese restaurant serving Lanzhou noodles like this, as this is the type of Chinese cuisine that is harder to find, even in larger US cities.

The overall broth of the noodles was okay. Nothing crazy or outstanding. Our order did come quick and it wasn't too hot. It was very hard to find a parking spot near the restaurant. Overall probably wouldn't comeback to this location. Pretty mid.

Short walk from the university with private lot parking. A small local restaurant with great service, food, and overall experience with an extensive menu. I would stop by here again if I was in the area.

On the west side was really good. The transmountain spot is a hit n miss. Fist time was pretty good and the 2nd time was a big miss I ordered orange chicken and noodles and my friend ordered general tso chicken. Our chicken was nice and hot. The noodles were a big miss...SMH our noodles was cold, cold no bueno so I let the server know and he takes our plates back and then returns with our same plates, I'm ok with that. I asked him what did he do and he said he microwaved our plates for 1 minute each and it was still cold but not as cold. No discount for cold food and still charged Full price $15. per plate. So for that price I want hot food.I'll go back to the Westside The place seems crowed, close to each other.

Visiting El Paso for the first time for the holidays. Found this gem from a recommendation to visit the "Cincinnati Entertainment District". Holey moley! The service was great, it was one girl and she was super nice, knowledgeable, and helpful. She was running the store with a great attitude and attentive. The window to view the cooks is super cool, as you can see the cooks hand-making the dumplings and your meal. The atmosphere is small, like a hole-in-the-wall vibe and super cozy. The menu had a lot of options, and does advise you that the fresh dumpling are a 15-minute wait time. But WELL worth it. The soup was unlike I've had before. It wasn't spicy but soooo delicious. The beef in the soup was like BUTTER. Smoothest beef I have ever bitten into. The stir fry combination noodles were very savory and full of flavor. The soup dumplings were so good. Adding chili oil & soy sauce on top is a must. The pork buns were sooo soft with a perfect crisp! I've written enough, but I'll end saying I was soooo happy I found this place. I'm sure the other locations are just as good. : )

Our waiter Evelyn was very attentive. We ordered our first app upon arrival and received it within 10 min. The scallion pancake, braised beef soup, Lanzhou soup and Lanzhou bao were delicious. We also ordered the vegetable dumplings and fried noodles with chicken which were good but not my favorite items. Below is The aftermath of the steamed bao, soups and dumplings. I think the empty plates and nearly finished soup is a good indication that we enjoyed our meal.

My favorite dish has been the bbq baos. They are wonderfully moist and tasty. But something changed and not for the better. I just had some this weekend and they were terrible. The baos tasted like dry bread and the bbq sauce was smothered on. The sauce tasted artificial as if it came from a jar. I hope this was a one time event and Noodles & Dumplings gets back to making the best baos in town.

Pretty Average Dim Sum, but I really haven't found much better in El Paso. Food was okay, service was fairly quick and very friendly. Likely to be about as good as you'll get in EP so temper your expectations and check it out.
