Bookstore is no longer Barnes and Nobles and the pandemic is continuing. Thus, non textbook shelves are empty like the campus. Textbooks are still available at the other side of the second floor while it's still the beginning of the school year. However, it's more like a gift shop with a cafe. Living room is also empty. Such a sad looking store compared to the pre-pandemic period.

I've never been to NMSU before and came by with my father-in-law for a quick coffee before an appointment. This is a fantastic bookstore! There is so much to look at and it is bursting with Aggie pride!I love all the seating options for students and anyone needing a quiet place to work or think. There are ample spaces to grab a plug for a charge and it was easy for my father-in-law to check in with the office via his laptop.They offer a full Starbucks menu although they cannot accept Starbucks cards or the app. My white chocolate mocha was perfect and I've been sipping on it slowly because I'm afraid to see the end!One of the baristas was new and it was really nice to see the seasoned one help her learn the newer drinks. I love to see that kind of teamwork! Of all my Starbucks experiences around the US, this is also the first time my name has been written on my cup so that was way more exciting than it should have been.

Great place has a little bit of everything for the aggie fan rent or buy your textbooks fast and easy with helpful staff it's a pretty impressive bookstore. It's a good place to meet up with friends and even study there if you need/want to has a coffee shop right inside and other goods for the student on the go. I always get my textbooks here unless i can't get up to cruces in time.

Extremely unkind employees. Came here for my free DACC ipad, which I have been trying to get sine last year. In the fall, I submitted multiple applications before the deadline and never heard anything despide qualifying. I reached out to the "director", Kelly brooks who of course was no help. She told me she was on vacation and would get back to me soon. Never did. I then reached out to Ashlee, who also was no help and said she'd look into it and of course never did. Through Ashlee, I got Saras info who finally helped me, and just told me to wait for the spring and submit another application. I did, and of course there were still loads of problems. I came to this bookstore today to pick up my free iPad and did not have my student ID photo on me, which I had submitted online months prior and was waiting for one in the mail. I waited my turn for my ipad in line at the online pickup window, the woman working asked to see my student ID, told her i was still waiting on it. She rolled her eyes and looked at me and said louder "Student ID" I asked what she wanted me to do, I have been waiting for it in the mail, I told her I have an email from Sara proving that there is indeed My iPad waiting for me. She called some man from the back named Steven I believe who the the pettiest person I have ever had to deal with. He tells me to download an app to pull up my ID photo, I download it and my photo is not there. He goes with me to rent a parking space to see if my ID photo was there it wasn't. I was told to upload my photo and print out an ID extremely frustrated I sigh Steven looks and me, rolls his eyes and has the nerve to say, "Its really not that hard to get a free iPad, it's not that big of a deal." I can not believe how customers are treated here. Especially after all the trouble I have gone through for this one iPad that I have been owed since last year! Ridiculous. Who says that to a customer? Steven has no idea what I have gone through for this iPad, i am positive I am not the only customer Steven has spoken to like this. Worthy of termination if you ask me. I finish printing out my ID and go take it to Steven as soon as I walk up to the counter he is extremely petty. "Got it sorted" he says the laughs while looking at his co-worker next to him. wow. I stayed quiet in awe at this grown mans behavior. he gets annoyed I haven't responded and goes, "IS THAT A YES?" I replied yes and he hands me my iPad and goes "YOUR WELCOME" I am appalled at this behavior. How are people like this still employed? This schools workers are extremely lazy and rude. Go out of state.

I ordered a book a month before I had class and never received it. To top this off, they never gave me confirmation that my book wasn't going to be shipped anymore. Call me a Karen but when you are relying on a textbook to get a good grade, the least they can do is tell me they wont be able to provide it so i can go ahead and find it at another bookstore. I ended up having to get an e-book and having to read it in 3 days.
