Great food. Great atmosphere. Feels like you are back at your grandmas for breakfast. If I ever live in El Paso again will visit

This place is for an older crowd. Mostly retired men and women. It's usually packed and no room in Sundays the food is not originally Mexican and it's tasteless ... Not good for a younger crowd

Our hometown favorite place to go especially during the holidays! Every Thanksgiving we run to New Clock for our traditional Friendsgiving. The service is always top tier and the taste never changes. You definitely know it's a good diner when you see our version of good eating with a hometown feel.

I recently found this place about 3 weeks ago and have come back at least once a week since. Service was excellent and the food is amazing and affordable. I got the SOS with eggs which is actually just traditional biscuits and gravy with eggs. The restaurant is clean and servers are attentive. I will be back again and again for those biscuits and gravy. The chips and salsa are also a delicious added bonus.

Came to New Clock Restaurant for lunch with my husband. He had previously visited their establishment with his co-workers and said their food was good so I was down to try them out as well! They definitely give off that old diner type of vibe. We must have arrived at a non-peak time because there was no one there. But I'm not complaining since we were seated right away.Service was decent. Our waitress came around to get our order but was pretty much non-existent other than that.I ordered the combo #2 which came with a taco, enchilada and Chile relleno. They also brought out free chips and salsa! I didn't really expect much from them, I'll say the salsa definitely tasted like it was from a jar and the chips were cold. But I didn't mind since it was free anyways. As for the meal, I was a bit disappointed. I've never had Chile relleno before so I don't know if my expectations were off but it didn't taste too good. The whole plate kind of lacked in flavor. It could have benefited from a bit of salt. Everything was, for the most part, bland. I had to add the salsa onto my dish to get some flavor into it.I do realize that maybe they don't specialize in Mexican cuisine and I should have just ordered a breakfast item. If I do come back to give them a second try I'd just avoid the Mexican food items on their menu and go straight for the breakfast.

Service was horrid , attempted to get hotness numerous times to which she avoided our calls and no eye contact. Our food was horrid my husbands plate was served with totally burnt bacon not overcooked but burnt

The first time I was here, I had a large bowl of Menudo. The Menudo came with all the trimmings and was the best Menudo that I have had and I've had a lot in many different states. Today I had a small bowl of Menudo and pork chops steak and eggs. It came with hash browns, tortillas and refried beans. The tender pork chop was seasoned to perfection. I wiped my plate clean with the tortillas. I washed it all down with endless coffee and took a large iced tea to go. In budget eating is a plus+. The service was fast and friendly, we ordered our drink's first and the chips and salsa soon followed. The ambiance light hearted with cultural history on the walls and pleasant music in the background.This place has been a staple of North East El Paso for 80 years.

Serving up cold food, on cold plates. Don't even bother! I had to ask them not to overcook my chops. Menudo was lukewarm, and tasteless. The cashier, gave us our cc back, said that's all, no receipt and turns around to give you her back. Zero stars for this place. It's gone down.

I tried this place for the first time last week and it was soo good! At least the chilaquiles and breakfast plates which is what I tried. The French toast are perfect!! My husband tried the pozole and he said it was good as well! It's my new favorite breakfast place!
