I needed a dryer and wanted to buy local and avoid the big stores. So I bought a new dryer from Nathan's that did not work when plugged in. The installation people had no tools and said there was a problem with my electrical even though they had no way to verify that. The installer was argumentative and rude. Do yourself a favor. NEVER use this service. I had to call another company who told me what Nathan's did to wreck my refrigerator. They jury rigged my refrigerator with the wrong part. So it works, but since they used the wrong part, it makes a loud irritating noise almost constantly. They have scheduled and scheduled visits but have NEVER shown up! I can no longer get through unless I call from another phone. Then it's an apology and promise to show up, which they have NEVER done. They are worthless crooks. DO NOT USE!!!

My 14 year old Whirlpool Duet Dryer a front loader stopped getting hot after abuse of a family of 6. UGH! who has money for a new one.We went to their shop at where they sell a ton of used appliances for a new to me dryer to see what we could find. We explained our situation. Should we buy one there or have them fix ours. They were very informative stating the older machines are better less computer parts and just fix it. We called about a month later. Yes we went old school for a month. They came out same day. They took the dryer to their shop and brought it back the same day. About a 5 hour turn around. The gentlemen was friendly and really efficient. My dryer works great all for under $200. I am so happy.I tried them despite previous bad review because they could have sold me a used dryer for a lot more.I will re-review if my dryer goes out.

Bought a washer and dryer from here. Price wasn't bad and they did deliver on time. Filter in the washer was nasty and I couldn't get it to drain right. You can tell that they didn't bother to clean it before selling it. I figured there was a clog or the pump failed. Took them three tries to finally fix this, it was clog in a small line. Then I had issues with the dryer not fully drying. They took it for 4 days, I had to call to get it returned and it still didn't work! Looked up possible issues, took 409 and cleaned the sensor and now it works great! Seriously, these guys are supposed to know what they are doing. I'm definitely not going back and I would recommend you being picky when you buy.

Accountability: Nathan's appliance about a stove repair. I paid a $35 Diagnostic fee, *close to $100 for a needed part and +$60 for labor. Less than 10 days later the stove malfunctioned. The owners Nathan and Ricardo's mother live 3 houses away from me. I saw and informed Ricardo, he offered no accountability and directed me to stop by the shop, which is 3 miles away. I interacted with a female family member/ employee, she is from Arizona. She stated that another +$35 fee is in order. I requested a receipt for the * aforementioned part and have them manufacturer service it. "*We don't keep receipts for purchased customer parts." I reasonably concluded that this transaction most likely did not occur as Ricardo described/ billed me. I am a native New Yorker and we have awesome consumer protection laws that shut down Con Artists such as Nathan's. Since I purchased a+$900 Washing machine from the Home Depot and a $2,200 refrigerator from Conns'. They at least honer warranties and value return customers.

I purchased a used washer/dryer from Nathan's Appliances. The agitator of the washer broke immediately upon first use and the dryer did not work, only blowing cold air as well as the vent not being properly connected. When I scheduled service to have it repaired, the technician never showed up during the time scheduled. I asked the business for the washer and dryer to be picked up and my money refunded but was told they would only repair or replace them. Technicians came and attempted to fix the dryer at my home but were unable to do so and have taken it back to the business. As I was sold broken products and could not get them repaired or replaced in a timely manner, I asked for a refund and have been ignored. I filed a complaint with the Better Business Bureau and Nathan's Appliances has not responded to them either.
