Called on Wed for pedicure appointments on Fri. Asked for a female for my husband. Arrived on time & was rudely told by 2 males that there were no females. I said we made an appointment in advance and requested a female. Only one female working in shop who kindly helped my husband out. Long story short I did not get my mani cuz the guy who did my pedi went on to do a regular customer. Went to pay the bill and was told $67. When I said HOW much is it, I was told $ 65. $5 for tax. When I researched the tax on line for $ 60 in Las Cruces, NM it was just a little bit over $3. Rip off all the way around. Won't be backThe Salon was sold. This review is for the new ownership, not Melissa.

I have used this nail salon since it opened and always had good service. It was sold recently and the service is horrendous. The last time I went in, May 2017, there was one customer getting a pedicure. There were two young men who were obviously employees sitting in the salon. One was fooling with his phone and the other was stretched out in a pedicure chair drinking Starbucks. One called out and an older man came from the back to do my pedi. It was the worst pedicure ever. He got his glasses but still couldn't see what he was doing. He cut me twice while trimming my nails. He did wear gloves but you could see his dirty nails through the gloves. I will never go back.

Small salon with almost no parking and surly workers. Convenient location but unfortunately, very limited parking available. Poor ventilation and acrylic smell overwhelming for small space. Find another salon with friendly workers and more space.

I have been to Nails by Melissa once before and they did an amazing job but I went two days ago and they did the worst job possible. I had an older gentlemen who rushed through my acrylic fill and did a terrible job. He didn't shape the nails right and then handed me off to someone else to finish them and paint them. I have lost three nails in only two days and now I have to get them redone because of them. Unless you can get Melissa who is always booked and out of town don't go there.

Girl dropped nail polish brush and picked it up off the floor and continue to polish my toes. The girl was very young and hurt my feet I have had many pedicures at other places and she push the cuticles back cut my cuticles to where my toe bled . She never spoke to me I don't think she knew any English it's hard to say something when they don't understand you. it's not a place I would suggest . I will not be back
