MVD Express

Poorly trained staff. I made three trips here and never got the same story from anyone I dealt with. What a waste of time!

This MVD Express is convenient for those who don't want to wait in line but willing to pay a fee. Beware that if you don't have the proper documents or in its original form for some, you will have to come back with it. I made several trips. The only good part is that I didn't have to wait all day just for them to say that.

These people don't answer the phone, I've called 4 times and stayed on hold for over 20 minutes with no answer. Then when you go in to the DMV express, there's employee's standing around with nothing to do. It's very frustrating when all you want is a question answered. Customer service no stars

The staff is timely and kind. They make the experience simple and easy. Big difference from big California dmvs. I was in and out during my visits and that doesn't happen where I'm from.

While we appreciated Tiara and her friendly helpful attitude, Leo could not have been more rude. It's frustrating for everyone to have to comply with forms and fees. To get an employee who clearly doesn't like people does not help the process

I read so many bad reviews about the las cruces office, I felt I needed to write a review on my visit there: I was a walk-in--no appointment--I was greeted and told they would be with me shortly--I was helped by a young lady named tiara within minutes--the dealer I had purchased my new vehicle from had failed to include required data on my original "customer order" --it took 2 tries, and nearly half an hour for the dealer to correct the problem--tiara even got on the phone with them to explain what was needed--she was super!! the atmosphere in the store was light and friendly/courteous--everyone I saw was treated professionally and promptly--I was offered a bottle of water, which I gladly accepted, and a piece of cake, which I declined--hands down worth the convenience few, to not have to endure the folks at the state MVD--

Leo provided exemplary customer service, including title transfer, vehicle registration and driver's license. He is really good at his job - friendly knowledgeable and professional. Be aware though, that MVD Express is not a state agency, but a for-profit company contracted to provide vehicle-related services. You will pay a premium for those services, much more than those charged at the state MVD. Be advised that companies like AAA will provide some of the same services free-of-charge if you are a member.

Take NOTE! This place is NOT an official State DMV!! DON'T GO HERE!Unless you like giving organizations money for no real reason.They will charge you for "Convenience Fees", telling you that it's the cost of the service. In my case, a VIN inspection that IS necessary to have done when you're new to the state... but does NOT cost anything if you go to an official DMV.This place will charge you contrived fees that the state does not charge. I naively paid for a VIN check to the tune of almost 80.00 because it was presented as if that is necessary state fee.Come to find out when I followed up with an OFFICIAL DMV that the same service doesn't cost a penny. Not one.If I had realized this place is nothing more than a mere car dealership for everything license in New Mexico I never would have gone here. (I refuse to pay for undercoating too).Because I was not given the information I needed over the phone (they won't answer) I chose to go to a different licensing agency that is not that far away. Who knew?? Moving is expensive and I've had to fork out so much money for everything related to our move.They hide the charge by calling it a "convenience fee" of 35.99... 35.99 x 2. Convenience? For who?Just because you say you donate to charities doesn't justify taking advantage of people who might not have a lot of resources themselves. Especially under false pretenses.Shame on you MVD EXPRESS!!!If I ever went back again, shame on me.Lesson learned.

I had to change my car registration from Texas to New Mexico the young man help me with this and even put my new plate on my car. I would have given him a tip but I didn't want to get him in trouble. I wanted to leave a review and say thank you. he definitely did more than he had to. I really appreciate his help
