Having to arrange the services for my brother was hard enough, having lousy customer service and lack of empathy was not worth it! Only reason we used this funeral home was because we were getting a death certificate to close his accounts. My brother was cremated. We were not even asked about keeping his clothes, which apparently were thrown away. An extra charge of 650.00 was being added to get a five minute viewing. FIVE MINUTES. My brother died in April we have to be calling to remind them to process the death certificate, which based on the Registrar is taking less than two months, due to the pandemic. We are going on five months and still are waiting! E-mails on this have gone unanswered, no follow up calls! Nothing!

Well for a FUNERAL Home, its alright. BEEN here before, always professional. They need to put out more water bottles, they always run out!! And maybe crank up the air conditioning, its always hot when chapels get full! Will update after services tomorrow!

I want to personally thank the staff and the owner. They helped us and really listened to all of our needs. They kept us well informed of everything that was happening. They showed professionalism, sympathy and really simplified such a hard process. I want to thank you from the bottom of my heart for the amazing service you provided for my family. I know it is not easy to balance sympathy yet keep the business side of it. Thank you well wishes to all of the staff!

I will be very cautious when it come down to setting up advance funeral services at this establishment. The Sales associate Lupita showed an unethical behavior in sales. She visited my mother on a Thursday and gave my mom until that coming Monday to finalize her decision. My mother called her the next day to cancel the transaction with Lupita. To my moms understanding on Friday the transaction was cancelled. I get a call from Lupita that coming Monday afternoon that she called the company to stop the transaction. Lupita still ran the transaction knowing my mom cancelled the next day. This was an unethical behavior on Lupita behalf. It's shows that your only a NUMBER at Mt. Carmel Funeral Home!This happen 10 days ago and Lupita has have yet to apologize to my mother for her unethical behavior!

We recently used the services at Mt. Carmel Funeral Home. Their attention to detail and service was outstanding. Mr. Julian Martinez Jr., was superb.He explained everything in detail and made sure all was to our liking. The office staff, Leslie, Stephanie and Marlene, were also wonderful. Mr. Jaime Martinez personally handled the coordination of the pall bearers which added a streamlined touch.The respect and dignity given to our Mother was remarkable. My Family and I wish to Thank Jaime & Julian Martinez as well as all the Staff of Mount Carmel Funeral Home in El Paso, Texas.My brothers and sisters/ Family unexpectedly found ourselves having to plan a funeral after my mother suddenly passed away in August 2017.I had no idea where to start so I googled funeral homes in El Paso.Mt Carmel came up with 5 stars so I made note of it. Several people made suggestions for different funeral homes so I visited three Funeral homes suggested and Mt. Carmel. I was most impressed with Mount Carmel...the facilities and personal care given to our situation and the price for what we needed was by far the best of all we visited.I am so pleased & happy with the way Moms Memorial and Burial took place. All the Staff were excellent and worthy of my deepest gratitude for making this process simple and easy. It all turn out the way I believe dear ole Mom would have planned it herself. 5 Stars is for sure deserving for Mt Carmel Funeral home in El Paso.

I have to say this is one of the best funeral homes in El Paso. I looked around as my Dad was in hospice, and I seen a few places that were very expensive or very cheap; and it showed they clearly wanted your money. Well I was helped by Julian, Dianna and the ladies at the front desk. They were amazing. They help us in every way possible! I can not be thankful enough. Also my Dad looked great on the day of his funeral. This place is moderately priced with GREAT staff!!! Highly recommended.
