This place is basically an ER. You will get billed as though you went to a hospital vs urgent care. Just fyi.

ALL URGENT CARE LOCATIONS ARE NOT ACTUALLY URGENT CARE. They are considered outpatient hospitals! They will charge your insurance as a hospital and your deductible will be charged! BEWARE!! After contacting the facility I was told that there is a sign in the office that tells you that they are not considered an urgent care and they feel like that is enough information for it to be the patients' burden to be aware.

Was in Las Cruces for Thanksgiving. My insurance didn't cover me out of state. Ended up spending around $355 here because they charged me $239 for flu and strep tests via a bill sent 2 months later, plus an additional $36 on top of the $80 co-pay I paid when I got there. I don't even remember saying I felt like I had strep. Turned out that "precaution" set me back $90+ out of that $239. Unethical business practices abound.

The Dr was in the room for 2 minutes, threw a prescription at me and sent me on my way. Didn't realize diagnosis was so easy. WebMD? I've made $50 last longer in a casino. On the up side it's cheaper than the ER at $300.

Very nice people. Went in for x-rays and was in and out in an hour. Very thorough and knowledgeable. You do need to ask about cost, because they didn't give that information up front.

Seem ok as doctors, but they will not answer the phone if you have billing difficulties. Do not use them.

Walked in this morning complaining of a 4-day headache and neck pain with 15 pages of medical history with chronic issues. Explained my issues to several nurses and went through the typical process. Nurse Practitioner Enid Salcido walked in gave me a 5 second examination, refuse to look at my paperwork and proceeded to tell me I had strep and would issue a swap test. I politely explained that it was not strep which was met with simple answer, she turned around and left the room. I take some responsibility; I should have been more assertive with my issues but it is difficult to see straight when you have chronic pain issues and given the fact that she was in and out of the room in a blink of an eye it makes even more difficult. (Imagine that negative results) Next thing I know a nurse walked in handed me a prescription for ibuprofen and an order for imaging and told me I was done. Well......if you would have taken a few minutes of your time, you would have seen the same diagnosis that you came up with. Cervical radiculopathy, numerous MRI results, and associated history spanning 2 years was in the paperwork! All I was asking for is some relief since I had to wait several days before the VA opened on Monday, absolute waste of 2 hours and that crappy feeling of being push through an assembly line. Thank you for showing me what this place is all about, I'm out!Good luck folks

This place may only charge you a co-pay of $25 at the front desk, but be expecting bills in the mail. They do not tell you all that they will be doing and some items are not totally covered by your insurance. They do not follow proper protocol when it comes to informing patients that they can get their prescribed items from someplace else for a lot less. My wife and I received a bill for almost $600 for a knee brace that I can get from a reputable medical place for $116. My wife was not informed she could do this and was just given the knee brace. Stay away from this place unless you are going in just for a cold.
