Mountain Village

This place is a SCAM !!! I was there for 6 years. After all the cleaning I did paid for carpet did a walk through and was told it was ok that I did a good job cleaning and I did a really good effort except for some small things but that was the wear and tear but that goes with living there. My final bill was almost 700.00 dollars . 30 dollars for blinds. DO NOT RENT FROM THIS PLACE !!! the OFFICE LADY tells me that her apartment was immaculate and she was there for almost 10 years and she didn't have to pay!! I didn't ask for an opinion!!! if I knew i was going to be charged over 500 dollars for the carpet I SHOULD HAVE BEEN TOLD TO CHANGE WHEN I SIGNED THE LEASE EVERY YEAR SO I COULD HAVE GOTTEN NEW CARPET FOR NO PAY !!!! They towed my car when i paid for private parking cause the maintenance didn't recognize my car and it was registered at the office but of course i had to pay out of pocket to get it back WITH NO APOLOGIES !! I am filling a complaint with Texas Apartment Association. VERY DISAPPOINTING. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM !!!!

Second comment: Case and AssociateI am here to protect others from suffering as me and my son did with carpet allergies. I wonder why my apartment was not checked prior to moving in but when moving out my apartment was definitely checked and charged.

I loved this one bedroom apartment. I moved here after a critical event in my life and found this place to be inviting and peaceful. My apt's balcony saw the prettiest sunsets at the mountains, Management people were so kind and generous, taking the time to address my needs. Forever grateful to Yadira, Letty and Lilly. also the Maintenance crew. The apt had so many storage space, I had a place for everything. and the laundry served also as pantry. Very Comfortable apt.

I have been living here for 7 months. my experience has been positive. this complex is for people looking for a quiet, peaceful and safe neighborhood. i live in a townhome. the space is well divided, upstairs are 2/2 and w/d connections. big master bath with linnen closet and walking closet. 2nd bedroom has a nice closet and a private bathroom. features - fireplace, pantry, coat closet, counter in kitchen that you can have bar stools "refrigerated air" - a must in el pasooffice personnel and maintenance do their best to resolve issues you have. they listen to you.i have not live in apartment like in 25 years, and never thought i would like to live in an apartment again. but with the space and prices and ammenities is the best choice at this time

I never take the time to post anything but I think this was the last straw!! I have been residing here for a couple months now. Going through winter and coming up on summer. The ac is always broken as well as the heater I believe that the maintenance people are so backed up from rigging the apartments to there standards. Not to mention the fact you HAVE to talk to the staff who are not friendly at all, hearing they have been making changes with the companies that lease out these apartments they should continue to look for more friendly office representatives. The only thing that's going for this apartment complex is the view. Other than that I would keep looking for something more efficient and friendly

I have lived in this apartment complex for about 2.5 years and have little to complain about. The entire staff from the leasing office to maintenance crew are awesome! Since I have lived in this complex, the leasing office staff has changed multiple times, but they have always been great and helpful with any type of question or concern I have had. All of my neighbors have been very nice and quite, minus a few barking dogs here and there. The only two complaints I have is, on and off issues with the laundry facilities and the at time the maintenance requests can take a while to be completed. Although there have been times when the laundry facility has been down near me there are other facilities around the complex, plus you can lease a washer and dryer to be placed in your apartment (which maybe cheaper). If a laundry facility is not working the leasing office is really good about calling to get the machines up and running in a timely manner, as long as they know about the issue. As far as maintenance request, if you just keep on top of your request (which I do not always do) then you should be fine. If you are looking for an apartment complex with a staff that will do most anything for their residents, including jumping your car when it won't start, this is your place.

Do not give any money or sign nothing for their apartment THEY ARE A SCAM ARTIST AND RIP OFF. My family member and I went to go look at this apartment complex to possibly rent an apartment. Beverly greeted us at the door, showed us a model apartment. I explained a possible move in date end of Nov early Dec because of my Military obligation. She convinced us to fill out the 50.00 application fee which was 100.00 for the both of us. Coerced us to pay 150 deposit to place our name on the waiting list. She calls me with an apartment move in date 14 Nov 15. She left messages pressuring me after she knew i was serving abroad. We NEVER SIGNED A CONTRACT OR TOOK POSSESSION OF KEYS. WE NEVER MOVED IN. I arrived back to TX 8 November called to inform Mountain Village we can not take the apartment I came down on orders preventing us to move in. I spoke to Melissa a female with a M said she was the manager. She is unprofessional and rude. She said i was unable to receive my deposit back because we both applied and i am the one with orders my family member didnt. I explained..How could they? Im in the Military. She refused to give me my deposit or half of it. They robbed us a total of 100.00 for application fee and the 150.00 a total of 250.00. I pulled out my receipt for the deposit and in small letters it said deposit non refundable after 24hrs. How realistic is that? Its like SOON AS YOU GIVE THE RENTAL OFFICE YOUR MONEY YOU ALREADY LOST YOUR MONEY FORCING YOU TO MOVE THERE. The model wasnt all that great and from what i heard from a tenant in the parking lot its toxic and bad there. I did notice on our walk through the gym they had. THAT WAS NOT A GYM its right outside next door to the rental office. Its divided by a glass door with outdated gym equipment consisting of a total of 5 items. Its a SCAM RUN!!! NOT SAFE FOR MILITARY
