Mountain View Apartments

This apartment complex is absolutely fucken trash, washer and dryers never work, management is rude as shit, the apartments are literally falling apart. Floors are crack, the paint is peeling off, and not to mention the place smells like fucken doo doo. But no they can remodel the fucken management office to make it seem nice but this place is going fucking down. They didn't even let my wife take a copy of her contract they wanted her to sign so she could read it over how fucken sketchy are these fat bitches fr fr. They tried to make my boy sign a paper stating he was abandoning his lease but in reality he was PCSing but when he tried to give them orders 30 days out they said no just so they can squeeze another months rent out of him. Impelling you go find somewhere else to live because these people are fucken snakes and try to fuck over the military, if you have any issues regarding money and contracts if you're army contact LEGAL before signing anything. P.S. the staff are fat as fuck

Infested with cockroaches. Please, please, please do not plan on living here unless you take the horrible recommendation as I have to live here. This place is absolutely infested with roaches which the management cannot manage. I sit awake now on a Saturday at one in the morning due to their disgusting inability to handle this infestation. Pease. find another place to rent from, as this is simply unacceptable to live with.

The apartment itself is not bad, and it is in a very good location for me. The management and upkeep is horrible. I had to wait to move in so they could recarpet which took longer than expected, and then the carpet didn't reach all the way to the walls, and if you stepped near the edge there were nails. The balcony door had 2 broken locks on it, cracks in the walls, cabinets painted shut. My AC went out and it took over 5 weeks in summer to fix, and I received no credit towards my rent. I only received a small AC unit which ran my electric bill up $100 And could only cool the bedroom. When they fixed the AC they tore up the bathroom and left the damages when they were done.

Only reason I give it 2 stars is because it's close to Target, Albertsons, and Commissary where I shop every week. If not I would give it only 1 star. There are 2 pools but they closed the one that's right outside bldg H. I don't want to walk all the way to the pool that's near the office because it's summer time & the heat is too much for my 2 young kids. There is dog pee & crap all over the lower floor of our bldg. It smells and the neighbors don't care about it. Oh well, I won't be here for more than 3 years so I'm going to avoid going out during the summer when the smell is bad. You get what you pay for and I had a much better experience with cheaper apartments in Tennessee. I guess it all depends on the management. No problems with the staff and everyone we have talked to but these apartments are good for single and married couples with no children. I wouldn't recommend to anybody with 2 or more kids to live here. Since its very close to the Jeb Stuart gate there are a lot of soldiers who choose to live here. They would get loud and rowdy on weekends and it's hard for me to sleep through all the noise. I think they closed the 2nd pool due to littering and swimming when it was supposed to be closed.

Good for single people and first time apartments. There are some maintenance requests (AC didn't work in the summer, garbage disposal and drain needed some fixing) that you may have to put in but they almost always got it fixed for me within 3 days of the request. There was a shortage in the wires one time and my electricity went out cus the circuit breaker was overheating but the management offered me a place to stay somewhere else in the complex and they were very understanding (got an electrician out there to evaluate the next day).

The place looks quite a bit nicer in online pictures than it does in person. The buildings are pretty run down and the apartments look pretty old. It just seems to have been built on a pretty small budget, as things seem to break a lot. When I moved in, it smelled horribly of cat pee. I haven't been able to get rid of that smell since I got here months ago. I think they recently switched management and it seems to be running much smoother now. I've never had a problem with the ladies working in the office and the maintenance men are always quick to get the job done. All of the employees that I have met have been very generous.They have two pools, a splash pad, community grills, and a dog park. Overall, the maintenance of these areas is decent. However, people at the dog park are extremely disrespectful and don't clean up after their pets so it tends to smell.A lot of the problems I have had in this place are with the residents, and not management or the apartment itself. Many people let their pets go to the bathroom on the balcony or in the common outdoor areas and don't clean up after them so the smell can be unbearable on super hot days. There is also trash and cigarette butts all over the ground outside, but it seems like that is cleaned weekly.Overall, the place is pretty cheap and you get what you pay for. It's not bad for first apartments or people on a budget. Just don't come in with high expectations and you shouldn't be too disappointed!

There are a lot more places for the same price where you can rent and have a good quality of life. However, if you don't mind apartment staff going into your space without your consent, checking to see what's in your balcony, checking to see what's in your apartment, doing excessive maintenance (water outages, A/C repairs, pesticide spraying), then this is the right place for you. Also, even though this is a pet-friendly apartment complex, there are people who leave their pets in the balconies where they can be heard screaming throughout the cold nights, owners letting their pets urinate / defecate wherever they want because they are too lazy to use the dog park - you will have to be okay with this, too. There are also a lot of loud people during the weekends. Residents love to scatter their junk mail all over the place. You will be lured with the one month free rent special. Once you've moved in, you'll start experiencing all the little nuisances I had mentioned.If you have patio furniture, they will assume it is regular furniture and ask you to remove it. Please consider these things. I don't normally review apartments, but if this means being able to save time and money by helping you, then I am thankful...because there was no such review when I had moved in.

Horrible apartments the floors are falling apart we had chunks of concrete underneath the carpet coming out. the balcony's are sagging the water pressure is terrible I honestly wouldn't waste my time living here ever again nor would I encourage anyone else to live here either. The area is quite bad and the drive to base takes forever because the complex is right in the school zone.

FIRST OF ALL, let me start by saying they have not always been this bad. In fact, before manager was visible around the office, all was good with the world. Since Nov 2015, everything went to crap. THE MANAGER IS DISRESPECTFUL AND DEGRADING. She came to my apartment yelling at me outside my door in front of all my neighbors because of a misunderstanding we had about a payment. YELLING AND DEMANDING. The pool is never clean and needs restoring. The policies here are constantly changing. Just today I got a notice that my utilities would now be due on the 1st instead of my usual 15th of the month. Also, cant have anything on the balcony because u get charged for it. Maintenance men are beautiful and caring people I will give them that. Honestly, if it wasnt for this manager, I wouldn't put this as a bad review, more like neutral. But that lady has ZERO RESPECT. I understand you are entitled to speak to me about the misunderstanding, but you have NO RIGHT to yell at me in front of my neighbors. I will not be renewing my contract. In fact, I dont even think I care anymore if I get my rental record stained because I dont think I can last another 6 months. My suggestion to the corporate company, fire the manager. She has ZERO customer service skills and comes off as a money hungry person.

They are absolutely disgusting, one of my neighbors smokes and they won't do anything about it and it smells like somebody is smoking in my actual apartment, when I first moved in the stove did not work and it took almost 3 weeks to get it fixed, my sink got backed up from a neighbor upstairs and I called for a week and a half straight to get it fixed it finally got fixed after two weeks, my stove door would not close for the past three months that I lived there, The paint in my bathroom is peeling off after only living there for five months, there's a dog down the hall that will bark for three hours straight every single day multiple times a day and they won't do anything about it, also at least once a month for a week my husband will either before work want to take a shower after work want to take a shower and the water will be ice cold and will not heat up. Always turn off the water without notice. It is a terrible place I would never commend it even to my worst enemy. Oh also my husband found a syringe last week near our back patio. And the people upstairs throw beer cans off their balcony.
