Mom and Pops Pyro Shop

I know there are a lot of firework shops in this area of New Mexico. I've pretty much shop them all but it is hard to determine who has better prices because they all carry different manufacturers. What I can say is that this year my fireworks show was next level thanks to them. I went severely over budget this year but I tried some new products I really enjoyed.

Is it true from what I read on the internet that since 2020 all New Mexico fireworks shops can't sell firecrackers, rockets, aerial shells, Roman candles anymore?? Only lousy " safe and sane" crap? I was at Ken and Barb's "Mom & Pops Pyro Shop" in Lordsburg N.M. back in 2003 and bought various types of awesome aerial stuff and Roman candles ..I didn't have ANY duds! I was happy with my order....

I came in a couple weeks after New Year 2017* and the store was very understocked (which can be expected). However they still had a decent selection. Rating 4 stars instead of 5 because their prices in-store do not reflect what is advertised online. I drove to Mom & Pops in hopes of a good deal but once I got there everything was about twice as expensive as listed online.

I like that this company is family run or at least close with family and friends. The only thing that I would take off of this company and only give it 4 stars would be that they do not have any deal such as the buy one get one free I feel like it would boost their sales and their business but they are in a really good location closed the travel store Gas Station liquor store and all the amenities you could need. They definitely have a lot of fireworks and well worth the stop

Rows and rows of fireworks! You name it they have it! They have a great selection of fireworks for a great price. They even offer advice on which will give you the best bang for your buck! The 4th is coming up and this place should be on your list to make your firework purchases!

My brother and I happened on this store on a cross country trip we took. We got some fireworks, some shirts, and a hat. The hat disappeared later on in the trip, and my brother found he bought the wrong size shirt. (The fireworks were great). Kudos to Kim who helped locate a new hat and a smaller shirt for us after we got back to New England. A great example of the best in customer service! Would recommend this place to anyone heading east on I-10 through New Mexico.

Such a cool store, every firework imaginable and a few more. Family owned and really friendly. Wouldn't dream of going anywhere else!
