On a road trip, we stopped in for some lunch. We had planned to stop in Hatch for some shopping but this was bonus as it was lunchtime too. This is the place to go! The menu has plenty of options, the heat levels are just right and the service is fire! This is a family business and everyone is participating including their young daughter who was bringing out beverages and piping plates of food.We sat down and took our time deciding what to have. When taking our order, I was able to get my chile relleno Christmas with the red and the green. You know you are in a legit place when they don't ask about a crispy relleno.We asked about different sauces and salsas. Our server described to us a jalapeno salsa that she makes that is smooth and creamy, but she happened to be out at the moment.While we were enjoying our lunch, she came out with a small cup of the aforementioned salsa and it was still steaming from the pan. She whipped up a a batch so we could try it. I have to say it was one of the most delicious things I have tasted. I could have done a bowl of that wonderous substance.This place has been added as a permanent stop for us when going to Hatch.

We were traveling through Hatch and wanted to stop for something that had some green chili in it... even though they sold out of two of the dishes we wanted, this place was phenomenal! Great prices, fantastic food and pretty fast service for freshly made food!

Wow! That's some great green chili! Chicken enchiladas covered in green goodness! A cozy place in the back of a gift store so you have to look for it.

The beef enchiladas with red sauce are amazing. The sauce is very flavorful. The green chili cheeseburger was good as well. The service was very pleasant and quick. The decor is very kitschy, but it's a definite don't miss.

Tiny place. Cool town. Great service. My wife had the green enchiladas and I had chicken flauta's. Here is the extent of my Spanish... MUY BUENO!! We will be back on our next trip thru town!!

The heat index on the green sauce is hot! You sort of have to ramp up to it. But very flavorful. We had the #2 combination (cheese enchilada, beef torta, chile relleno) and had it Christmas tree style (red and green sauces). It was very tasty. The place is small and was very busy at lunch time on a Friday. But the staff was very pleasant and worked very hard to accommodate the patrons. Two thumbs up!

Great little restaurant in downtown hatch. We were too late for the breakfast chilaquiles, so I had beef quesabirria tacos and my wife had the chicken queso tacos. Both were great, and the serving sizes (4 tacos each) could have been shared. Our friend had the agua fresca and the chile burger and said it was also good. We were sent here by one of the chile farmers who spoke only Spanish, and you could tell from the clientele that this is where the locals eat.

This was a cute little place, one of the only places open on the Sunday we visited, full of locals. Food was good, people continued to pour in the door, so it's a popular place!

Good tacos, fairly quick service. My son loved the Mexican rice and the aqua fescas. Will be back again.Guacamole Awesome-ole!

Excellent food, service, and clean. We had the chicken flautas and quesabirria tacos. Super flavorful and authentic Mexican food. My only desire was for more chicken in the flautas. The quesabirria was delicious, queso appropriately melted and right amount, the consomme was rich and delicious too. Even the rice and beans were great. Perfect for a quick pit stop in Hatch.
