I recently visited this store and was genuinely intrigued by the diverse range of products they offer. From unique finds that seem authentically crafted to more familiar items reminiscent of a New Mexico truck stop, there's a bit of everything for everyone here. The variety truly stands out, catering to different tastes and interests. However, my experience was somewhat overshadowed by the service received at checkout. The interaction felt rushed, and unfortunately, there seemed to be a lack of patience and understanding towards customers facing language barriers, which led to some frustration on both ends. Additionally, a slight confusion regarding the pricing of sale items versus non-sale items was quickly escalated as the transaction was completed before we could address our concerns.Despite this, I believe in the potential of this store and its offerings. A more welcoming and patient customer service approach, especially in resolving minor confusions, could greatly enhance the shopping experience. I look forward to visiting again and seeing how this feedback might be used to improve the overall atmosphere and customer satisfaction.

Really nice souvenir shop with lots of authentic Native American art. The employees were very friendly and helpful. I found a beautiful turquoise pendant made by a member of the Zuni tribe. A must check out.

For a $400 rawhide four lampshade purchase on-line, this company was impossible to deal with. They were paranoid that FedEx or UPS would not deliver appropriately and that therefore they might have a claim and the courier would not pay. Accordingly, I had to sign for delivery or they would not ship it. They expect me to wait around for the delivery to arrive, as if I have nothing else to do or my time does not have value. They were paranoid that if the box sat on my front door for a few hours, it would be stolen, rained on, or excessive heat would destroy the rawhide. I explained it was a residence that the package was being delivered to, that the porch was covered, that the house is in a private community, that FedEx and UPS deliver here all the time (apparently they have not heard that Amazon Prime built a pretty big business and that FedEx and UPS actually know how to deliver, have insurance programs that the seller could use, and that even if I signed for it, I would not open the box prior to signing it anyway). There fear is unbelievable. Apparently, they never considered the risk I was taking, spending $400 on four rawhide lampshades based upon some poor photos on their website. When I asked them to use insurance if they were concerned, to send it without the need for a signature, and I sent them photos of the house and the porch and the inside that showed we have lots of rawhide lampshades and kind of understand what the product is, they bowed out and refunded my charge card. They explained how big a financial risk this was to them and that their business (a single retail store that has been around for more than 25 years doing business domestically and internationally) has encountered every type of shipping problem. I guess they think that having a delivery signature solves everything. Well guess what, they are living in the dark ages. The time I wasted going back and forth with them was unbelievable. I am happy to have them "dump me" as a customer. At this point, my concerns kind of trump theirs. What if the shades are less than satisfactory? How will dealing with them on a return work? What if the shades did not arrive by my drop dead date of 9/8? What if I agreed to sign but did not hear the delivery truck or was temporarily not here? Would I then have to go track down the FedEx delivery and go to their office to find the package? What if I signed and then opened the box after FedEx left and I noticed that the rawhide had shrunk? Maybe that was due to heat during the transportation process? Or maybe it was just a shoddy product? Maybe this is a great store? But I will never be in El Paso and I thought, as this is 2022, that purchasing something through e-commerce, that was in total under $400 in cost, was actually kind of a standard business practice and that the shippers, FedEx and UPS, were pretty qualified to complete the delivery. This company's e-commerce business is a joke. Everyone should beware. They are a huge waste of your time. They have no respect for their customer's time or schedules or flexibility. By the way, this is the FIRST comment I have ever written about any company's business in an on-line review. But they deserved it. I rated them 1 star because I could not post it without rating it somehow and the choices do not include zero stars.

Wow! Finding this place is tricky but so worth it. When I first walked in I thought that was the whole store-no it's massive. Anything and everything Southwestern from rugs and blankets to drums and beautiful turquoise/silver jewelry and literally everything else you are looking for. Most items are authentic made by native Americans. I was overwhelmed and felt like binge buying it was so amazing. The prices are great compared to stores near me that don't have half the items/options or authenticity. Seriously if you are even near this location stop in you will be very glad you did.

OMG this store is great! We were visiting family over the weekend and they recommended this store for cute souvenirs. But get ready to find so much more! They have so much variety and authentic amazing things from Mexico and Native American tribes. We loved everything about this place. Spoke with a gentleman who was the owner, who was super nice, and the young lady at the register was very knowledgeable on where certain items come from and their use and meaning. It was like being in a museum! Highly recommend getting gifts and souvenirs here, it's even great for family outing.

Mission Del Rey is a deceitful and untrustworthy company. I purchased an "authentic" Navaho Wedding Vase which I used for a wedding ceremony. NO WHERE ON THEIR WEBSITE DID THIS COMPANY EXPLAIN THE VASE WAS FOR DECORATION ONLY. After 15 mins of holding water the clay disintegrated, leaked on the groom and the vase was broken into pieces. It is built for ceremonial activity and it is a VASE. When I made a complaint, they were rude and customer service was terrible. As I submitted a claim, they suddenly marked an out of stock item on their website for decorative use only. This was not on any website or paperwork received. They are NOT TRUSTWORTHY, RUDE AND I STRONGLY RECOMMEND BOYCOTTING THIS COMPANY. I also will boycott Pay Pal Credit who also found for the merchant and will close all my business with Pay Pal who should be ashamed of their business practice.
