The place itself looked a bit run down and the menus were old and needed to be updated to be a little more appealing...they weren't serving dinner just lunch at 6:00 pm. I had the green chili cheese burger and a side salad which was tasty and my husband had the Philly steak and cheese with fries and he said that it was pretty good. The servers were kind and efficient but in my opinion wearing ripped up jeans to work takes away from the all and all ambiance...guess I'm old fashioned but the clothes still do make the man/woman

Great service, great food! Small dinning area yet they make it work! We had breakfast and left stuffed on great omelets! No beer, I think! Just food, stay sober, once in awhile!

Miners Diner and Bar is a local establishment in Morenci, AZ, that is located in the plaza area a couple doors down from the Post Office and near the bowling alley.Newly remodeled, Miners Diner has a neat and clean, updated seating area. The food mostly consists of typical diner food with a decent mixture of Mexican food offered during lunch and dinner. They have daily soup and dinner specials written on their board. They have tables that be squished together to seat a larger group, or they have plenty of side booth tables. Although not listed, they serve breakfast until 10:30am, when they switch to lunch. There are a couple menus that have this written on it, and others that do not, so FYI. The food comes out in a good amount of time, not too long of a wait. They also offer chips and salsa while you wait.I came in around lunch time, and ordered the Bacon Cheeseburger with a side of tater tots. As you can see from the photo, there is a large amount of tater tots that come on the plate. They also offer several other sides posted in their menu. The green chili plate comes with a side of tortillas, kept warm in tinfoil. A convenient aspect of this restaurant is that once you get your bill, you can pay up front at the counter, rather than waiting for them to come back with your change/ receipt to sign.

Come here every time I'm in town. Recently they accommodated a 20ish party for a birthday breakfast. Great service as always and delicious food. Also prob the best Micheladas in the state

The burger is so delicious! It is incredible. We have tried many, many, many burgers in our life time and these are one of the top ones on our list. They had the show, "friends on" a huge TV and the place was packed so you know the food is good. What is not good is the service. Our server never refilled our drinks, delivered our food or gave us a check. So she literally took our order and was done with us. The other people that actually delivered our food was nicer. I think if the service was better, this place would be 5 stars. We will be back though. The burger is too good to resist.

We didn't eat here but stopped for a beer and had a great time. Chatted with some of the locals and watched a football game on one of a couple of large flatscreens. Friendly staff!

This place would be a lot better if they let their staff take home the tips. Just FYI: if you tip your server here, they don't get to keep it. The owners keep it. Shady business.

I am employed at The Miners Diner Bar and would like to respond to the "tips" comment made by Brooke S...all servers at The Miner's Diner and Bar take full tips home everyday and the taxes are paid by the owners!! So whatever you were "told" you were terribly misinformed ...Best place to work in town..FYI before you comment about "shady business" make sure you have your facts straight

Well, I tried something without onions. They still can't get it right. I ordered online, and my daughter wanted a club sandwich with avocado - a Cali Club. It's not on the menu, but the online ordering allows adding guacamole to the sandwich. Guess what was not on the sandwich. I called, and they said they don't have guacamole, even thought they charged me for it. And they can't credit the card I ordered with. They will "write it down" and credit it to my next order. THERE WILL NOT BE A NEXT ORDER. This place stinks.

It's ok. I like their green chili cheese burger and their breakfast burritos. The reason I gave them only three stars is because they never answer their phone and we've found hair in our food SEVERAL times. I've heard others say the same. So their food is good but we eat the food... cautiously.
