Mimi Nails

Mimi is awesome but the work WAS mid! I went in for a fill on my 4th and final visit, and the owners husband asked me who did my nails (cos they looked horrendous) and to his surprise, it was HIS WIFE! Lol. It got awkward after that. They are super nice though and its a small shop but they'll squeeze you in regardless.

I came in to get my gel polish changed. She start using an electric file, and I specifically asked her not to file down my natural nail. She did in fact file down my nail, I told her I did not want to damage my natural nail and that is the point of getting a gel polish and not an acrylic set... and her response was "you can just put two coats of base coat".My natural nails NOW bends like paper. It's ridiculous. And the customer service response "of there's nothing that can be done now" is really sh*tty. Before I came in my nails were strong I will NEVER come back.

Mimi, the owner of the shop is exceptionally friendly and customer service oriented. While her shop may not be the fanciest in town, what it lacks, she more than makes up for in service. After just one visit, she somehow managed to remember my name and details of my life I previously spoke of. She enthusiastically answers the phone whenever I call by saying "Hi Charlene!". Her husband gave me a pedicure that is one of the top foot massages I've ever experienced. I also appreciate the extensive color choices, nail bling/stickers, and very reasonable prices. Coming to Mimi's is like visiting a friend and always a day I look forward to!

I have hard time find good pedicure in many location (include Utah and Colorado) until I try came here...how can I say more than WOW?! This is amazing place, one of my nail damaged and I came here, she know everything and took care of it. My mail finally able to cure and repair. No pain, no tickles. I definitely will come here twice a month, no discussing!!

I love Mimi's nails I've been twice and both times I've been super impressed. They greet you when you first to enter their salon, they are very clean, friendly, and affordable. My acrylics were only 50$ and I tipped 8$ which I feel like it's very affordable for how long they last and for how nice they look.

Mimi nails is by far the best nail salon I have been to in El Paso. Mimi herself is such a sweet and personable lady, and her quality of work is exceptional.

This place is amazing. Don't let the bad review steer you wrong! I was greeted warmly and assisted in seconds of walking through the door. In addition to getting my set done, Mimi advised me on how to keep my nails healthier! One of the best salon experiences I've ever had. Definitely worth the visit!

I cannot believe I was charged $20 to remove my short acrylic nails. This is the most expensive price I have ever paid. Usually I get charged $10 everywhere else. Also, this place is not friendly for walk-ins. Recommend calling before because even if you got there before others, you won't get serviced first. Never coming back.

I asked for dip powder on my nails. She didn't want to do it and wanted to give an acrylic base. I didn't want that. I told her just do gel instead. She said she would do dip. In the last step she still used a gel top coat. It started to peel off in a couple of days. After a week the dip started lifting. If she didn't know how to do dip on natural nails, she should have just said so. Disappointed because they were very nice. I thought I had found my new place.... Not yet.
