Yesterday, we decided to try Mi Pueblito for lunch. We were pleasantly pleased with our dining experience. Service was excellent. My wife had the Tostadas Compuestas and I had a smothered burrito, filled with the green chile beef, plate with rice and beans. Everything was delicious. I'm sure that we will return.

Went this morning for pozole. Sign says they open at 8:00 am. Waited for a half hour until they finally opened late at 8:30 am. Then told they didn't have pozole this morning. Left and went down the street to another Mexican place for breakfast. If you can't open on time then change your sign. Don't list a dish on your menu if you don't have it. I will NOT be back. There are other Mexican restaurants that know how to tell time. I will take my business and money elsewhere.

This place is DELICIOUS! The gorditas are amazing, rice and beans are authentic and done right! The salsa (green) is so good make sure you have extra to put on everything! Very friendly waitress, fun colorful atmosphere. If your want legit, authentic food this is the place! The American Breakfast was also delish!

The food was good and prices fair. Although for the quantity of food and the price is a little mismatched. The service was okay.

Decent New Mexican food here. I love their beef flautas and the green chile chicharron burrito. Really tasty and decently priced. This is a regular spot for us when visiting Las Cruces.

I have been coming to this place for years, it's my go to for menudo and they never ever disappoint. Caldo de Rez , tacos, enchiladas all tastes of home along with the amazing people that run it. The sounds from the kitchen of dishes clanking, Mexican tunes playing people enjoying there meals my New Mexican heart loves it. Not many of these little places left.Con muncho amor !!

Do not pay attention to the four and five star reviews. Revisited Mi Pueblito after three years of the pandemic. Much of my earlier review remains valid. The service is ok....usually performed by one woman. The parking situation of course still leaves much to be desired. The place is well lighted and clean. The only noticeable change is that the booths have been removed. There are about eight tables. The prices are quite reasonable and the food prep time was about ten to twelve minutes. The waitress brought out a basket of tortilla chips and a small dish of salsa when she arrived to take the order. I ordered the large (two burrito) burrito plate....one red chile con carne and one green chile con carne....both smothered. The chips were somewhat hard and lacked flavor. I would never think about buying them if I had the option. The salsa was a bit watery and lacked flavor....very mediocre salsa today. There was so little salsa in the bowl that I only had enough to use on six chips. Big comedown from the salsa served years ago. The rice was the usual. The refried beans were bland....below the norm. Both burritos lacked flavor. The chile sauce was almost flavorless. These burritos were below the Las Cruces standard. I had to add salt to each to help them out. In the final analysis, there was nothing I was served today that was above average let alone really good. This was, while not poor, a really mediocre meal. There are many better options around town for New Mex food. The restaurant has slipped a little and can no longer be considered in the top twenty-five for Mexican food around town. I just had to check it out after a long hiatus...it was worth a check. But, I probably will not return.

Love this place. My mom and I come here regularly for their caldo de pollo. It is so good that I find myself craving it. All their other dishes are great too! Definitely one of my favorite spots!

Husband and I have frequented Mi Pueblito since they opened in 2000 or 2001. The food is really good and consistently good; place an order and you'll get the same quality of food as on previous visits. Friendly staff. Clean, neat, and cute. The one (and only) criticism I have is the Tamal Plate; I will not order it again for the tamals being meatless, and having no cheese inside as a meat replacement. Otherwise - go in and enjoy! We hope Anita and Martin in are business another 20 years.
