Mi Casa Restaurant

If you are in the area, do not make the mistake of passing this place up! Located next to the Rock Shop between Safeway and Walmart, this is some of THE BEST Mexican food I have had in some time. The owner served us - and his wife is the cook and from Mexico. Guac was amazing with fresh fried chips. Portions were more than generous, and the flavor - on point and unbelievable! Thank you for an incredible meal and experience!!

Food was top notch. Flavors were delicious with creative combinations. Service cost them a star though. Inattentive, almost dismissive server. Waited forever for everything as others were being served and checked on. Where most places give you chips and salsa, we had to ask for it, and then it took 10 minutes to come. Check also took 10 minutes to come after asking. This place is small with maybe a dozen tables inside, so there seemed to be no reason for the service we experienced. But let me end on the fact that the food was delicious, so give them a try!

Absolutely delicious food at this intimate family run restaurant. The recipes have been handed down from generations and then expertly prepared and served. Amazing!

What an amazing restaurant in an otherwise sleepy town!. Went there on a recommendation and it lived up to the hype. VERY small place, but quaint and WOW was the food good! The service was attentive without being overbearing as well. Will definitely come back if I'm ever in the region.

What a treat. This small but mighty restaurant did not disappoint. We were vacationing in Tucson and sightseeing in Tombstone, I yelped to find a good Mexican restaurant. This little gem popped up. The plates of food and good reviews brought us here. We drove by it twice because it's set back from the street. Maximum occupancy is 28! The locals dined here and outsider's we're bringing their friends. We're so happy that we found this restaurant. The eclectic ambiance was charming, the giant plates were impressive, especially with the delicious food placed upon them. The pork burrito was an explosion of tasty goodness as well as an appearance that matched! My salmon was fantastic. The carrot cake was sublime! I'm posting a picture of the exterior so you won't drive by and miss this little haven of splendor.

Decided to try this place again and still not a fan of the food. I had the special which was enchiladas. The red sauce was pretty good but they put so much shredded cabbage on top of the enchiladas I had to scrape it off the enchiladas to be able to eat them. Wife had a chile relleno and an enchilada. Chile relleno was still cold so the cheese wasn't melted. The nice young girl brought out really watered down salsa. Big chunks of onion in it. Chips were way over cooked. The waiter never came and checked on us after we received our meal and was overall not very friendly. Will we go back? Probably not. This was our second time there and wasn't impressed.

We came to Benson to pay a ticket so on the way home we spotted this small little restaurant and it turned out to be yummy and authentic

My husband and I ate here--first time as we're visiting in the area. Its family operated--husband, and one other person, serves and his award winning wife is the chef. The food is extraordinary--I had the salmon and my husband had one of the Chimichangas. The menu is varied and interesting. Service is good, friendly and the ambience is authentic. We highly recommend this amazing little gem of a restaurant. We will certainly be back!

Absolutely amazing!! Staff amazing!! The setting was great. Food the best ever, definitely the carrot cake.

This might be the best Mexican I've ever eaten! I wish there were more chips served (we got a very tiny portion, about 10 chips, for 4 adults). And we had to ask for them. But the food was excellent! We will be back!!
