I just called Mesilla Valley Satellite and spoke to Will trying to get someone to activate a cable connection that was never activated when initially installed. I have waited 3 weeks and still nobody has made an appointment to come out. I wish I could give them a zero rating. That's what they deserve. A salesman named Abe from Mesilla valley satellite came to my house selling a faster internet service offered by Hughes.net. I was currently getting 5 megabytes per second with my current phone company and ABE said I would get 50 megabytes with Hughes.net. He said it would go down a little after I used my allotment. I asked what it would go down to and was told between 11 and 20 megabytes which at worse case twice as fast as what I was getting now. I as also told that I could keep my current phone number which was very important to me. That was a lie. I had to get a new number. The 50 megabytes were used up in less than a day and the speed went down to 1.5 megabytes. With two kids going to Western New Mexico University taking online courses Hughes.net could not support needs at 1.5 megabytes. Hughes.net charged me $480.00 early termination fee on a contract based on lies. This by far was the worst business deal I have ever encountered. I would encourage everyone to stay away from Hughes.net and Mesilla Valley Satellite. Hughes.net should not have charged me an early termination fee. I have all my bills taken out automatically from bank account and Hughes.net took out the $480.00 from my bank without my authorization.

They have made two appointments to install satellite internet. Both times they did not show up and did not call. Both times attempts to call the company just got an answering machine.These people are not professional. Do not use.

If these people come knocking on your door, lock it and do not let them in.I wish I could give them a zero rating. I am getting 2 different drafts from my checking account for directv service. I have called directv and they only have record of one draft under my account number. My guess is that I am paying for someone else's service. I talk to Ben Guerra and he promised me he was going to fix it. But he has not. I guess he blocked my number because no one answers when I call now.I wished that I had read the other reviews before I fell victim to this company. Poor service.

I've been dealing with Mesilla Valley Satellites for about 5 years. They have always given me and my family outstanding service. I would highly recommend dealing with them especially Mike. Super helpful man! Great service! Great products!

One month ago, a Mesilla Valley Satellites employee came to our door selling a Dish and Hughes net phone and internet package. My husband knew this man from years before. He quoted a $60.00 savings from our present Direct and Windstream package. We trusted in him even when he insisted on installing his equipment the next morning. He said he would handle canceling our present services and handle any early disconnect charges and also that we could keep our present phone number. Within a couple of days our credit card had charges of almost $200.00 and 3 weeks later, we were still paying Direct and Windstream because he had not canceled them. He would not return our phone calls. We live in southwest rural New Mexico with a 575 area code and Hughes net had issued us a 505 area code meaning our neighbors, when calling us, would have to make a long distance call. We have no cell service in our area. Guess what, MVS quite talking to us, not answering our calls. We are now disputing early disconnect charges with Direct but we were able to return to Windstream and get our old number back with additional monthly charges. This nightmare has cost us substantial dollars , the Dish pixels on both of our TV's which is the reason we left Dish and went to Direct, thus we have inferior services for more monthly charges. My lesson is trust your gut, the red flag being MVS quickly installing their equipment within hours and disconnecting the previous satellite. MVS lied to us from the moment he walked into our house and then would not talk to my husband about resolving our issues. PLEASE CONSIDER THIS REVIEW IF THEY KNOCK ON YOUR DOOR.Through Dish Network's main office, we have divorced ourselves from any further dealings with MVS which Dish labeled as a Third Company. In final, I would not have given a star but had to in order to post a review.

Terrible service!!!! Would not recommend! I tried to schedule several appointments and they either cancelled or did not come out. I have never experienced such poor customer service from a company before. I have no idea how they are still in business.

By far the WORST business I have ever had to deal with no one knows what's going on they cannot answer any of my questions it's been two and a half weeks and I still have no Internet there the only business my apartment complex allows so I'm stuck dealing with them horrible I would give them zero stars if I could

i see their setting up a store in deming, people dont use them, there nothing but a scam, i dont understand how direct and dish use them, they will promiss you a low rate like 130.00 a month for wifi and all the tv channels and when you get your bill surprize 200.00 scam scam scam
