What a fantastic healthy resource this is for our growing community!I have not been one of their customers because I pedal my own two-wheeler, a Doublevision tandem recumbent. However, I have participated in events where they are prominent; specifically, the NorthEaster Parade, as well as on the Bicycle Advisory Committee for El Paso. Pedicab service is an important aspect of any World-class community. Last June, whilst escorting my 84-year old mother on a 53-day overseas excursion, we were given a slightly damp ride from Selfridges to Kings Cross/Pancreas station. It was glorious, despite a few sprinkles! What made it even better was that once I had shown our driver my VISA card display of me on my Doublevision, that I had pedaled (on an upright A-D) through this lovely World community 33 years before, and convinced him that I truly could pedal his magnificent carriage, he found a quiet back street and allowed me the privilege of cycling them a short ways. The real message I am conveying is that we live in the Hidden Gem of the World, the Crossroads of North America, anchored by El PasoTX, Las CrucesNM, Cd. JuarezMX. We, too, are a World-class community, encompassing: Horizon City, San Elizario, Clint, Fabens, Tornillo, Ft. Hancock, Sierra Blanca, Van Horn, Cornudas, Dell City, Guadalupe Mountains NP, Whites City, Carlsbad, Artesia, Hope, Cloudcroft, Alamogordo, Orogrande, Chaparral, AnthonyNM/TX, Berino, Vado, Mesquite, (Old) Mesilla, Las Cruces, Deming, Columbus/Palomas, Vinton, Canutillo, Sunland Park, Santa Teresa, San Geronimo, Anapra, Casa de Adobe, Juarez, San Agustin, Reforma, Cazate, Guadaloupe, Praxedis G. Guerro, El Porvenir, and many more to be added as I continue my bike touring. Obviously, I have not pedaled our unsurpassable mountain bike trails, especially the formidable Puzzler, staying primarily on our fine all-weather roads. If you have any occasion, special or not, that is occurring in this area and want a unique way to promote it or just want to learn from a slower-moving vehicle. contact Mesilla Pedicab Company by phone or text: 575-208-6480 or 915-422-0848 or email: [email protected] must promote this industry, give it the support because not all of us can nor will bike tour, nor even rent a bike. Sometimes it's just plain easier to let someone else--Mesilla Pedicab Company--take on the hard work while we rest in the carriage.
