I was at the urgent care this past week and I cannot say enough about the wonderful staff. However, The exam table had moved and it revealed the most filthy floor. How can a health care facility not be aware of such the unhealthy environment.

I was in town visiting my brother and slipped and twisted my knee. I came in for X-rays and everyone I encountered was extremely polite and helpful. From the front desk, medical assistants, X-ray tech and PA. This was a good experience considering my mishap.

I visited this urgent care again out of pure convenience(it's close to our home) but never again!! This is seriously the worst place ever. The front desk girl was v rude, and seemed annoyed. I took in my sick twin babies and at first asked to wait in the car but since they were fussy from waiting for me to fill out all the paper work, dad and I took them into the lobby. They called us (thinking we were on the car) to come in and be seen in the back. We waited by the door and the front desk receptionist looked at us and said "ok so are you gonna wait in the car or in here?" In the most annoyed tone. My husband quickly replied with they just called us to go back, and she changed the tone right away. I know we're just like other patients but usually we are allowed to be taken back all together considering twins get seem together. Nope, they told us last minute that only one parent per child allowed. Again, we're no celebrities and aren't exempt to policies but it's an inconvenience to us to have to wait one by one to be seen. So I went first with one baby, and the doc seemed visibly frustrated with my son who was uncomfortable and SICK. You can just tell he either isn't around children or doesn't like working with them. It was painful to see him get annoyed. My son is 13 months..he has no understanding or control of how to act when he's sick, much less when he's gettingHis ears and throat checked...a little patience will go a long way. According to my husband, his tone and patience with our other son was very different so I'm not sure if he was biased against our son who was a bit more squirmy or against me (a female). Please please if you are sick, uncomfortable or have sick babies/children don't bring them here!! There are far better, patient, caring and positive practitioners in las cruces.

Can here to get a simple sports physical for my son. $20 dollars charge okay no problem. Tried to pay with $100 bill I was told that would delete all of their on hand cash. Okay no problem here is my debit card. Oh sorry our card machine is down. They then asked me to go across the street to take cash out of the gas station ATM. This may sound like no big deal but every business should be able to take payment in any normal form. If your machine is down fine but make sure you have cash on hand to give change. This is business 101, if you can't take payment why are you open? Next, don't inconvenience customers due to technological problems. Take the initiative and make preparations to minimize impact.

On 10/07/2024 this facility did an excellent job of caring for my wife. She was very weak due to a virus. She received a shot and prescription and is much better today. The staff and NP (not sure if I should post her name) were great. Thanks to all,

I took both my boys on separate days one got seen really fast and had amazing service. The next day I took my other son and we waited about 2 hours and if you've been to an urgent care in Las Cruces this is still fast to me but the NP he was such an A"hole" he had attitude idk I think he was having a bad day. To me it's still a great urgent care, the other staff was good! Idk about the NP I hope next time I see him he's better or not there.

Ryan Sterling, NP:Everyone I dealt with was friendly, kind, UNTIL this person walked in my room stating "I'm the PA."Then barked off my COVID, Flu and Strep tests were negative.I came at direction of my PCP who didn't want me to wait, and the Infectious Disease Specialist that called me from health dept who advised me to get PCR tested for flu, as my cat ate a dead pigeon last week, I clean its litter box, and I started feeling sick on weekend, really worse Monday night and Tuesday, and my abdomen pain and what feels like intestinal inflammation, was much worse with many other symptoms...but you didn't discuss ANY of them with me You stated "The Health Dept. gives bad information all of the time" I said, I'm only telling you what my Dr and the specialist wanted done-PCR (in addition to checking for infection or why I could be progressively getting worse, since my annual is scheduled for June 5th over 2 weeks away and Dr was booked and didn't want me to wait) and you angrily said "I can do a PCR test but it will take over an hour for the results!" So I said "yes, do it" and I asked about lab work to find infection or what is wrong, and that's when you really went off the rails:Ryan:(angrily): We don't DO labs here. That's not what Urgent Care is for.Me (nicely): Oh, I'm sorry, I just moved here in September from Dallas, TX and didn't know NM doesn't do that at UC Ryan (interrupting): Texas doesn't do labs EITHER at UC.Me (shocked): Oh, yes, they do now, I use...Ryan (interrupted again): I LIVE in Texas and the do NOT do labs at UC.Me: Yrs, they do, several like Citracate UC...Ryan (loudly interrupting) NO, THEY DON'T. IM LICENSED IN TECAS FOR .ME ( lInterrupting): I'm sorry but that's wrong. Texas does.Ryan continued to argue Texas doesn't , I'm ill, Im saying I will go to Emergency Room next time, as I didn't know, I'm new here, vabd you would NOT let it go Ryan begrudgingly orders PCR test, NEVER discussed all of my symptoms with me, said "your test are negative, you're fine" not offering advice on going to ER, as I may have a bad gastrointestinal infection, or who knows? Just because you don't do labs.Riffle me this:WHY does your Memorial UC website say YES, YOU DO LABS?(See link and info at bottom)Ryan, Citracate Urgent Care took care of me and my daughter many times. Labs, CRays, IV's, etc. on site while you wait in room in TEXAS. They send you home knowing what is wrong, they are kind, and with meds or dx, or refer to ER with transport if condition is serious.Citracare.com (Multiple DFW locations)https://citracare.com/urgent-care/AllergiesCold, Flu, & Strep ThroatEar & Eye InfectionsGastrointestinal IllnessesLabs, IVs, EKGsRespiratory IllnessSTI Testing & TreatmentSinus InfectionsRashes & AbscessesUTIMonkeypox TestingAnd MUCH more. Why you felt the need to argue with your ill 61 year old patient and offer NO good P.A. treatment and with an angry, aggressive attitude I do not know. Thankfully, the other staff I dealt with were opposite. You called in a medicstion that potentially would make 3 of my top symptoms worse. I did no ask for any meds. I don't even take pain medsI wanted to get better, not mask whatever it is You didn't know what my worse symptoms were."Cough" was the least of my symptoms.I am intelligent enough to know to go to ER tomorrow, as I must find out IF I have infection, as my Dr. did not want me to wait over 2 weeks. GI issues going on too long, or any infection, can be very dangerous. As a CNP, I hope you would know that, and treat future patients with empathy and kindness.See YOUR website below:Memorial Urgent Care:https://www.memorialphysicianpractices.com/urgent-careWe now offer:On-Site X-Rays***On-Site Lab****Sports PhysicalsTB TestingWhether it's caring for the flu, **infections,** minor illnesses, sprains, cuts or burns, Memorial Urgent Care makes it convenient to get the care you need to feel better. The past few times we have been here have been horrible . No communication . Just the run around . I thought maybe things had changed so I sent my husband to be seen after being sick for 10 days he had enough . Dr said he would prescribe him something if he had been sick over that amount of time . We called to let him know he had gotten his dates wrong . For TWO DAYS no call back after leaving countless messages for the DR . Just to call back THREE days later and say maybe you should just go to the ER if you have been sick for that long . Horrible . Don't waste your time or money . Sad to say we won't be back .

Literally writing this in my car cause I felt like this couldn't wait but Matt and his team did such a great job at stitching my finger up and making sure I felt comfortable! I will now only be coming to this urgent care. All rooms are clean and taken care of, waiting room has a tv so you're not awkwardly sitting in silence. Couldn't have asked for more!
